WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE BRAND OF BASS?

Mine is Fender. I like the sound.

Edit: No poll anymore, just respond with your favorite brand.

I don't have a Fender, but I have played one before. When I'm old enough to get a good paying job, i'm gonna buy one though.

Out of that list I guess Fender. Peavey's basses are nothing to write home about. Epiphone is trumped by Gibson... Gibson basses are ok... the thunderbird bass has left the longest imprint on the musical world out of their basses. Fender was the beginning of the bass, and I'd bet it'll be the end too.. Hopefully I'll never live to see the end. Leo Fender's bass designs are probably the most widely seen in the music world today. The P Bass, J bass, and Stingray are everywhere in music. Haven't seen the G & L's as much... But he was such an innovator...

Well generally when people vote other... they specify what "other" is... so humor us and tell us

Right now I'd have to say Dean, simply because i've got two good Edge Custom Series Basses for under $700 each. Both play far better than their price tag (they play better than some $1000+ basses), have two full octaves (which most Fenders don't have), and active electronics. Not to mention, the quilt-top finishes and mother-of-pearl inlays make them look like I paid a fortune for them

Conklin
Utah
Stingray
Tung
Tobias

More later.

Like Dean, Ibanez and Alvarez. That's what other is. "Don't Have one" is for people who don't have a fav brand.

My favorite bass is a split between Ibanez and Tacoma (of which I have one of both). The ibanez BTB is an all around good bass, although i prefer the soundgears. And the Tacoma thunderchief is great for those acoustic worship sets!!

A double bass is better for those acoustic worship sets

Stingray
Music man is the brand, stingray is the model.

Out of that list, even though i dont own one or anything, I would say my favorite is Tobias.
