Maybe we could just assume everybody loves Jesus and then move on with the topic

My fav. is Mr. Dorsett (or just "D" when I'm talking to him)... he was my pre-calculus teacher last year and I have him for calculus and physics this year. He's the man! He's smart, funny, humble, encouraging, and genuinely interested in his students, even after high school (although he does tend to forget their names... after 30+ years, the names all kind of blend together once they leave your classroom ). He always makes a point to compliment people if they have a new outfit on or a new haircut (he talked to me about my new haircut today, in fact). I just love D 'cause I know he cares about us and he actually teaches the materials well.

MEP, better known to the unitiated as Mr. Patterson, my debate coach. I've been out of high school for four years now, but he's still the most influential teacher I've ever had. It's difficult to explain the kind of impact he's had on not just my life, but the lives of so many of his former students.

Depends. The best teacher in the school is Mr. Draper. He's a civilian, but he knows his stuff, and he has the gift of passing this knowledge on to us students. My most humourous instructor is M/Cpl Collier..."If you fail this exam, I'll beat you like a rented mule...I mean, you'd best run out that side door, and start running up Hwy. 90 to Barrie, because I'll catch up to you in my car and kick your butt the rest of the way, so the faster you run, the less pain you'll be in when I'm done..."

Dr. Tatum, World Cultures, hands down. Funny, intelligent, and well-versed in the ways of Middle Eastern society and history, even if he was a bit on the liberal side. But that's okay. We went on a field trip and he got out and danced with us.
