| Well...I really am not sure what to say about this CD. The sound of Plus One has definitely changed. They are much more....adult sounding, for lack of better phrase. They've lost their boy band sound for sure. But there's something about the lead singer's vocals that will not let me forget the Backstreet Boys/N'sync clone that I once knew and loved.
Outlaw is a good track to open with, and Tonight is by far the best song on the album. Be Love has some good lyrics, and Sea of Angels is just fun to listen to for some reason. From there, nothing stands out at all. Here I Am to Worship is a very nice cover of the popular worship song.
One of the downsides is that the whole album clocks in at about 38 minutes. I would have liked to hear more of this new Plus One. But alas....
So, in closing, while I like the new sound, the guy's voice just keeps it from being completely different. And it's too short. But most of the songs are good, and it's worth picking up.
