| What a joy I saw this forum sitting there all empty and sad, so I thought I'd say something.
Being a parent is hard work, but it brings more joy than you could ever imagine. There are days when I just don't feel like carrying on and then I see my boys and I find new strength. |

| Amen to that! Parenting is most definitely the toughest job in the world, but it's also the very best and I love it so much!! |

| Well, I'm not a parent, but I am an uncle. My niece is just 11 months old, and is quite possibly the happiest being in existence. Occasionally she might get cranky, but her default position is happy. She brings such joy into my life when I'm with her. She laughs and smiles and giggles, and suddenly I realise what innocence really means. I wish I could be that innocent and happy, but it is not to be.
All I know, is that I look forward to the time that I can raise my own children in God's way and teach them what life is all about. And in return, I look forward to the lessons they will teach me. Still, like Ryan, I have a while to wait. I'm just 19... |

| Trust me...parenthood is worth the wait. I think it's great that you guys are so looking forward to being parents one day. Enjoy your life, build experiences and strengthen your faith walk every day - those factors will definitely help you in being an amazing parent.
Peace,
Kelly |

| Just checking in as another parent here. I'm glad we can have this forum!
I have two daughters: Emily just turned 5 and Tara will be 3 in May. It is more work than I expected, but also more of a blessing than expected too. I am realizing now that children teach us a lot about life - probably just as much as we teach to them. |

| I do too!! This is my fave board and I look forward to seeing what others have to say. I am a single mom of 2 cute kids. I can't believe that God would bless me with them!
My goal is to train my kids to fear God and to possess the fruits of the Spirit. I have been going through such a hard time regarding earthly possessions and who has what and so on. Yet, I'm comforted that we can't take them with us to heaven. Which is why I am thankful for the time that God has given me to teach my children His principles... now, I need to learn 'em first! |

| Children are a blessing from God possibly the best one you’ll ever receive this side of heaven. We have 6, 5 boys and 1 girl. I don’t think there is a better way for God to teach us about our heavenly Father than making us parents ourselves.
