I think San Diego would be very wise to draft Eli Manning with the #1 pick. Especially seeing how they passed up Peyton Manning for Ryan Leaf in that one draft. This time they can get it right.

I actually believe Peyton should already be considered among Marino, Young, Aikman, and Favre (not Elway, mind you. He's above all of those). I watched the game today in awe of his skills as a field general. I DO believe they can and will win next week.

He needs a Super Bowl win to solidify it, though. Which I believe he will get right now. I never thought I would be picking against New England. There's no stopping Manning. He wants it more than everyone else. My prediction: next Sunday's AFC title game will be the game of the year.

The Colts are going to take it all. Nothing can stop Manning, NOTHING.
the guy's in the groove tha'ts for sure.

And the Eagles. I still don't think McNabb did that amazing, given a number of bad passes he threw. Honestly, I think the Packers were the better team and if they had stuck to the run, they would have won.
yea they probably could have won it by sticking to the run. especially on that 4th and 1 late in the 4th. had they made that 1st down that would have been game all except for the clock saying so. find it ironic that the guy who talked up being aggressive diditn take the agressive action when the game was on the line. *shrugS* oh well, i like the result though... :kyep:

So, if you judge QBs on Super Bowl wins, you don't think Marino was a great QB? Or McNabb? Or McNair? Or Archie Manning?

Marino built his rep on a career, not 5 years. Manning can not be considered to be in that class until he has put his time in. Talk to me in 5 years about him being up there with the guys you mentioned.

Dude.. you're my new favorite person. You're the first person I know besides me who would put Elway above the other QBs. Major rep.

Elway deserves to be above all of them, with the possible exception of Marino. But that's only because Montana isn't on the list.
