Demonic Attacks

Who here believes in the present day attack of Satan? Including possesions and such. Why or why not? Scripturally speaking.

Does the postmil/amil position say that Satan is bound and incapable of such things?

That wasn't my question.

If you're actually asking me then I don't know. I haven't studied such things.

Question I have a serious question

What is everyone's view on demons? The existence there of? and their interaction with mankind?

I believe so. The arguement is that Satan has already been bound and the evil we see today is only caused by the inherent wickedness of man.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I haven't studied enough to point out scripture, but my father is involved with missions to Haiti and the presence of Satan is definately there. Possessions are down there, as well as a number of things. I think that speaks for itself.

Not if scripture speaks differently.

I do not believe that Christians can be possessed. I know that many of the postmil's around here believe that Satan is bound, but I don't know if that means that no demonic oppression happens in our day. I believe that many things attributed to demons are mundane in origin, and most demonic activity is probably not recognized.
