I think the answer is yes. Some people such as obviously Art, AtlasShrugs, and myself have a greater love of film than others. We don't want to just vent about a movie, but rather discuss and inquire as to what makes some movies great and others bad; not just say "oh this movie was bad, but I have no real reasons as to why it was bad, it just sucked." Also, I don't think it's that hard to know what the worst movie you've ever seen is. Usually when you see it, you know that is it and it sticks with you without having to ponder for extended periods of time trying to recall what it is.

agreed, there are so many movies that are just overall terrible movies, and you can classify them into if the movie was poorly directed, casted, acted, and other such parts of movie-making. The same reason its hard to say what the worst movie made is which movie is the best ever. Its all subjective as far as an overall opinion, but on the technicalities of the movie, those are more concrete. I can't simply choose a bad movie as the worst, because there are so many, and you can't just pick one outa a thousand.
