| I realize there are a slew of unanswered questions and un-replied-to previous posts in this blog, but I will honestly not be getting to them just yet. Apologies.

For starters, I'm still up. I was awakened rudely to the sound of excruciatingly loud jackhammers (which bled through my earplugs) directly outside my apartment at oh, 9-something this morning. They didn't let up on the construction for a good many hours after.
I stumbled out of the bedroom much later, after fitful sleep; Art got home not too long after, having finished some chores, and informed me that we would be meeting our newest nephew today. So I hurriedly got my Easy Mac and on and hopped in the shower.
After all that and an hour-long drive, we were at the hospital where Art's sister was staying with her now two sons, significant other, and my mom- and dad-in-law. A lot of cooing and huddling around the youngest boy, named Taylor, ensued. His older brother, Dakota, also vied successfully for our attention at times. Many hugs were exchanged, many pictures were taken, and much conversating occurred. I specifically remember being told at least three distinct times by as many as four different people that little Taylor came out with the cord wrapped around both his neck and shoulder, as well as talking with the proud papa about which football positions and/or musical endeavors each of his sons (who are unreasonably adorable, by the way) might one day excel in.
Seemingly all at once it grew late, and Art and I headed off for dinner with his parents and the newest big brother Coda. 'Twas Burger King, but it was quite decent, really. They have a rather good Oreo cookie-esque shake now.
A drive later, and we were at a local gas station, where we said goodbye to my in-laws as they made the rest of their drive home, Coda in tow. Art and I arrived home shortly after, and proceeded to pop open our laptops and - what else? - browse CGR. Before I knew it, it was 1:30 in the morning, and the laundry needed doing. Then a brownie/cookie craving hit, and I opted for cookie-baking. At 2:30 in the morning. Yes, I'm insane.
Art attempted to go to bed at 4:30. Then we both realized the laundry still hadn't yet been done. So we popped in a load with his work clothes and I saw him off to bed. I stayed up to switch over the load, and now the dryer has finally silenced. And it is light out, and I was far beyond tired seven hours ago.
So, that was my day.

That being said, Superman Returns was pretty fantastic.
| I couldn't agree more with that summary.
You pretty much summed it up. Superheroes aren't just all about the fighting. Character development is just as important, if not moreso, to the story. And that is that. Quote:

Mark your calenders, y'all. | I would, but I don't actually have one. It's the first year I didn't go buy a calendar or was given one by my birthday. Heh. Sure it's a little less organized, but now I don't feel chained to a bunch of numbered squares on a sheet of paper. It's quite exhilarating, really. Quote:

I've decided it's a good thing I'm such a klutz. If I weren't always getting into scrapes, I wouldn't have the instinct to know how to land when the potential for serious injury is there. Go me. Quote:

That's long enough for now. Second reply post coming up...

As was alluded to, we didn't exactly find out the kid's name until later. We got to the hospital and Art asked his sister. So yes, our nephew's name is Taylor.
Yes, Taylor. I wonder if he'll need braces down the line... [/teighlor] Quote:

It's just that we got back home at 11 and started our daily internetting routine at that hour. Quote:

| I went to bed and fell asleep with just a little bit of pain in my side. My fear was realized, and I woke with bad pain in my side. Something set me off for the first time in months. So, after about an hour of tossing and turning, the pain got worse, and I was done. So, I took a vicodin, again, for the first time in months, and I called in sick. Now, 45 minutes later, I am doing much better, and I'm going back to bed. Good night. |

| I suppose being free is more important than being ready for theoretical weddings.

| Well, how can one plan when the exact date and time is unknown as of yet?
While I'm happy to have Art home today, the circumstances leading up to it are rather unpleasant. At least he's doing much better now.
The IRC chat must be bumpin', because I'm seeing little activity in some of the most active journals right now. [/keen observation]
I want to play a video game, but I've no idea which one to play. Darned indecisiveness. Well, that and the fact that I'm currently stuck on a few different games and have lost the desire to figure out how to get out.
