| what i'm working on now.... this is what i have so far. Today
I cannot find the words to say
To tell you how I feel
They haven't been invented yet
I've been watching you from far away
Wanting to get closer
But feeling so inhibited
And time passes
The hours click so slowly by
I'm losing chances
To get to know the you inside
Where have you been my whole life
Baby, I don't wanna scare you away, but I
Just wanna be by your side
Today

| Verse 2:
This thing is just within my reach
But just beyond my grasp
So near and yet so far off
The angels dropped you at my feet
And now I'm scared to tell you
You're everything that I dreamed of

| hahaha... i wish.
Speaking of which.........................
So i went out earlier today with my friend Amy and that Brian guy... we *FINALLY* met up at the Metreon, after a couple of hours of miscommunication. But there's nothing to do at the Metreon, haha... except watch a movie... and there's not really anything much worth watching... so we kinda wandered around a bit. Walked into the Virgin megastore and wandered the upper floors... Amy "left us alone" and I *tried* talking to B, but neither one of us is terribly much for a real convo if we don't feel much like talking. Grrr... that's one of the things i dislike about myself. Anyway, we left there at about 5 or so and wandered off to Union Square. Brian wanted to go look in FAO Schwarz but the store is completely bare now... so depressing. I miss that place already. We were in the middle of the little park and looking at Cheesecake Factory... I'd not been in that one but once went to the one at Valley Fair just to bring home a cheesecake. So I mentioned that... and soon we were up there at the top of Macy's, sharing a monster-sized booth with just the 3 of us and talking. I liked the end of the convo... we shared some good pickup lines we'd heard, hahaha... I like the last one he said, it was "Oh sorry, I don't wanna come between you two... or do I?" My fave that i kno is the falling from heaven one. i used it on him. wellllll..... unfortunately those don't work. I am further proof b/c Amy talked to him... he specifically asked if she was trying to set us up (oops, was it THAT obvious ) and then said that he liked hanging out but was not interested in anything more than just friends. *sigh* So, for the umpteenth time, a cute guy (with potiential ) does not like me. Well hey.... at least i had fun today. and got to talk to amy about him.
O and I finished that song, obviously.... posted the parts all together in my songs thread... but here's the specific post if you wanna go look.

| I saw this in Stephen's xanga, and i told him i'd steal it... so here i go. 1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
"military conquest, regardless of score. When you select this victory condition, you" 2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first? water bottle/left speaker 3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?
this chinese show my mom's addicted to... didn't understand a word of it, lol 4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:
4:15 5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:
4:17 6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:
uhh... my music is coming in thru my PC speakers, so.... I'm listening to my song "Over" thru my pc speakers.... lol 7: When did you last step outside?
today at 2-ish 8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
Stephen's Xanga, our hapas aim chatroom 9: What are you wearing?
clothes. yes. clothes.
okok.... my HS junior-year t-shirt and dark purple velour sweatpants 10: Did you dream last night?
maybe...? I don't remember my dreams... except my daydreams... lol 11: When did you last laugh?
Just now, at Steve's comment in the chatroom..... how he used to butt his head into his locker when he played football to get pumped up... b/c like i said, "well that explains a lot...." 12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?
seafoam blue 13: Seen anything weird lately?
yea, your mom... haha j/k...
my hair this morning. that was weird. 14: What do you think of this quiz?
it's ok... ur typical boredom survey 15: What is the last film you saw?
Walking Tall 16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
a brand-new red PARKER P38! and a whooole buncha guitar gear, lol 17: Tell me something about you that most people don't know:
Online people- I'm being really closed-off in person these days... it's the side of me that I usually show to the world first, but... it's prevalent these days.
Real-life people- I have this crazy, open, wild side of myself that i don't always show to everyone... and i'm not that hard to get to open up, you just gotta ask me anything and I'll answer, I don't get easily offended at stuff.... 18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Give myself a successful music career!!!! 19: Do you like to dance?
yea! *boogies* 20: George Bush:
is president.... whether we like it or not... 21: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
Depends on the last name... but either Krystin/Crystal or Michelle 22: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
Still depends on last name... maybe Justin

| Over
I lose myself in the melody
Maybe then I'll forget you
I feel the emptiness sweep over me
Just another day in the life of a fool
So many days have passed
And though I want to give you another chance
I know it's over now
No matter how hard you try
We can't continue, now that I've found out
You're not ready to be the biggest part of my life
In the ocean of failed attempts
I am drowning in endless lies
Looking back at all my regrets
I continue to ask why
So many years have passed
And though I want a second chance
(chorus - change tense to first person)
