OH MAN.... do wagging tongues abound in the church or is it just the ones i go to...?! Two of my friends cornered me when they entered the room and were like, "Rachel... come here girl... What's this about you having a boyfriend...?!" HAHAHA!

See..... I told some of my school friends about the whole dealy... and apparently one of them (Evan) told Toni (one of the girls) and another friend I told online yesterday, Jon, told the other girl, Serena... and so they compared notes and ganged up on me today. Hah. Oh well... So it's out. And now they're all gonna tell everyone else. Well, I was eventually gonna tell everyone about Josh myself. Really. Truly. Honestly.

Haha... today after Sun School we stood outside like an Asian gang and yakked, like we always do.... and a bunch of the guys were standing in the crosswalk for some reason; some of us wondered why they were over there, so I went over. Lo and behold there was a blue parakeet standing in the middle of the street!!!! Quite odd... so we tried to get it to stand on our finger, but it didn't love any of us, so one of the twins handed me his Bible and picked it up in his hands. But the birdy was a biter, so he just let the parakeet fly back into the street after that!! But we didn't want it to get run over... so I picked it up again and it started nibbling me too. That darned thing really liked my fingernails.

Argh. Finally I let it go too, out of frustration. It kept coming back around, oddly enough... I guess it liked that particular corner. It's a nice day today and everything, so I can understand why it'd want to be sitting in the middle of the warm, sunny street. (That's what we were doing, after all!) We kept playing with the bird. El managed to perch it on her hymnal and Tiff got a pack of saltines and tried to feed it, but all the vicious birdy wanted to do was bite, bite, bite. It flew onto someone's car... and Chung pulled his little DumDum Pop out of his mouth and held it up to the bird's beak.

Whatta dork... the bird eventually bit the pop, then flew off. Chung then put the pop back in his mouth (!!) until Brian commented that parakeets carry the plague..... and then he took it out and threw it in the storm drain.
Funniness.
Hasta la pasta....
