HE HAD NUMBERS NEXT TO THAT BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER THEM. HE LIVES IN TENN. WAS UP WORKING ON SOME PAPER FOR SCHOOL. ON ANOTHER THREAD HE WAS TALKING ABOUT ABORTION AND I SHARED ON IT ABOUT A DREAM THAT I HAD COMCERNING ABORTION. I AM HOPING TO SEE HIS RESPONSE TO IT. | Well here is another day. I have a cold that I am still battleling(is that a word?) and I am surfing CGR. Looking over the new threads that have been left in the musicians and praise and worship leading. Learning some things and agreeing with some things I have had experience in. Being a musician is a rewarding feeling for me . I love it. But sometimes it gets frustrating. I posted a message in the section about leading woship and communicating to fellow musicians. Having been around some of best musicians and music leaders in the east tennessee area. I have come to apreciate music even more. But what is frustrating is trying to convey to inexperience musicians music theory, what with timing between the inexperience musicians and singers. Sometimes they joke with me because of the looks I give when someone is off key or off time. oh, I try to explain to them the music theory but it falls off the opposite side of the ears. there is no seriousness about improving the ability to play music because we actually dont't spend enough time practicing together of separately for that matter. I try to get as much practice as I can at home. I am praying for some serious musicians to come into our church so I can be free to play and improvise my skill. |

| Today I went running around town doing errands and did some shopping for an acoustic guitar processesor (did I spell that right?). All the while thinking about my last journal about my disppointment with my fellow musicians at church. I talked to God about it and wondered ,"Lord will we ever have some serious musicians come into my church?". I had to get it out of my mind and just remind myself that everything is going to be ok. Later I went to meet my wife at her work and we went to OCharleys restaraunt. MMMM, boy good. Anyway we talked about personal stuff and other things. The-e-nn we went shopping for christmas that never ending chore that comes around once a year. We had fun but got tired. Guess what I forgot what I was frustrated about. |

| Page Four I got up this morning early as usual, though I would have rather went on sleeping butyou know, the bills got to be paid. My wife gets up at 4 in the morning tobe at her 1st job at 6o'clock. anyway she rings me on the phone and says to me," Its snowing". Having already turned on to the weather channel I said I know, I know. Then in her loving way she says ,"Drive carefully,Honey." OK I says. Well I get ready eat breakfast read the paper then at 7:30 am I head out the door to my car. Cranked the car and the radio to WAY FM my favorite radio station now. And I drive out down the road. Well the snow was coming down alright but I was thinking well its not too bad. I get alittle further down the street passed a bridge when suddenly I hit a slick spot in the road and began to slide and fish-tailed and I managed to get control, my heart going pupupupup and I said Ok dale earnhardt slow down now. Then I am thanking the Lord for keeping me safe. Now if I would only listen to my dear wife when she said," be careful driving in the snow," |

| Uhg, snow driving
As a recent native of south Texas, I don't think I'll ever get used to driving in snow. I get a little here in OK where I currently live, but boy oh boy do I feel for you guys that get it more often....
Good luck!

| I was just reading the reply from JakeW and went to his journal and found out that he was about to lose his job. So I sent him a reply about my job. Well, Last friday me and my fellow workers got news that the company got bought out by a rival business which we had given much competition to but funny how the table got turned around, huh? Anyway, I am suppose to find out if I will be working for them or not. I really don't want to but if they do hire me guess I will anyways. |

I'm sure everything will work out for you though, it always does I think.
Still, you hate to have all the stress on a holiday week.... How long 'till you know one way or another? I think I am supposed to know if I am hired by today or tomorrow ( ) At least I won't have to wait long
Anyway, thanks for writing in my blog, It's lonely in there!

| I am an Ordained minister Something that I forgot to mention is that I am an ordained minister. I didn't mention it because I feel like I am just like anyone else. Just a person who loves Jesus. I am not big on " hey look at me I am a big shot in the Kingdom of God" attitude. As Paul would say about the body of Christ, the least in the body is just as important as the biggest parts in the body. For we are members of one another in one body( I Cor 12) So for those who wonder why I get preachy sometimes Its because I am called of God. |

| MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! HO-HO-HO
Well here it is finally, Christmas day. I can hear all the kids yelling and whooping and tearing off the wraps and going ooh and ahh and whats this? yeah, an occasional dissappointment once in a while. But, hey its a time for cheer, right? Anyway, still haven't heard anything about my job yet. Sort of anticipating and it's kind of makin' me crazy. "Let patience have her perfect work in you that you be found not wanting" thus says James. |

I ended up not looseing my job at all, so yet again God took care of everything.... I am SURE He's got you and yours in hand also, though I'm not above sending some happy thoughts your way...
Good Luck!

| Haven't heard from the new company yet about my job. So I am still hopin'. Meanwhile, today I have decided to start a devotional in the devotional section of CGR. I pray that God's pure light will shine in the hearts of all who view them and begin to live for God like never before. I feel God's presence on it, what a rush I felt. The subject is Grace, something the Holy Spirit impressed upon me some time ago and have since preached in my church. I get such a high when I preach God's word. Its His anointing that gets me through the nervousness while I stand in front of all those people. It is like his hands and arms grabbing my arms and holding me up. It is an awsome feeling. |

| Well, HAPPY 2004!!! Here it is the new year. And we are all still here. ain't it great? Well, anyway, I lost my job and I am not going to worry about it. I am going to enjoy myself here on new years day and take care of the rest when it gets here. Is'nt that what Jesus said, Do not worry about tomorrow, but take care of today, because tomorrow will take care of things of itself. Well anyway, I hope all is well with everyone at CGR. See ya around. |

| Well, its been a day since my last posting here in journals. I got an interview monday about a job and I plan on trying for a route driving job with a major milk company in the area. that job is suppose to pay good and with benifits. I am praying to get that one for sure. Anyway my wife is enjoying my being around more with her, till she gets tired of me of course.
Anyway, it has been acouple of good days and I am blessed to be living with the Lord in my life. |
