Sunshine beautiful sunshine. It is great weather today. Going out for a little while to check on insurance. There is a possibility of getting disability insurance for my hearing loss. They say I could get partial or full disability. And that I could get a check even if I get a job. Hmm, I just might check it out.
Yesterday I went and bought me a new Dictionary and a rhyming dictionary for my poetry. I am really getting into it now. Thanks to the Lit. forum. The books are Merriam-Webster. Bought them at Walden books in the mall. The desk dictionary was $14 and the little rhyming dictionary was $6.50.

Hey pray pray pray everybody. I got a phone call today frome GTS for a job interview tomorrow at 2:00 pm. Remember they were one of the outfits I went to and applied for work. They did say, however, that it was a part time position in the caterer division. They are a food vending outfit. That if accepted I would work monday thru thursday. And seldom work evenings. Be great if they have benefits being part time and having 3 days off.

Well the interview went pretty good. Found out a little more about the job. Geneva is who did the interviewing. She was nice but tough. She mentioned that sometimes they work to 2 of 3 in the morning catering for a party or other. And that I would probably be making sandwiches at times to meet the demands of a costomer. And be transporting by truck the food to where ever the event is. Not sure if I really want to do this but I will if I have to.

Well so far did not get call from GTS bout the job. Still lookin' around.

My Pastor asked me to help with the outreach in our church. Some one was in such dire need of food and Pastor was out of town so I was asked to meet with this person. Well yesterday I called the man in need to set up an appointment. Told him to meet at 10:00 am today. So I waited. I waited some more. waited a little more. I call him up. He says that he has a job interview sending someone over to pick up food. I wait. waited some more. At 11:00 am I locked the door and called him to tell him reschedule later for the next day. Left message on his machine. He calls back. I answer and for some reason he hung up, lol. Was in dire need of food. Hmm, what do you think? lol.

OH NO!! Its snowing. Disappointed . They are calling for 4-8 inches tonight. I am so ready for Spring. I know this winter hasn't been as big as previous winters but I am so ready for warm weather.

However, things are looking pretty out there as I am looking out my window here next to my PC. Maybe its the last hurrah, lol.

The snow is gone, the snow is gone! woo hoo
yeah, and I am glad. So ready for spring. Spring come quickly. I know thats not scripture. But that is how I feel.

Anyway been off here a little while. Had to get my PC fixed. It was gettin' too slow. Now Ive improved the memory and it is going quicker. I am happy for that. Thank you Lord.

Still looking for a job. One is coming I know it is. Praise God he got Lee one. Isn't that great? Yeah he is blessed. And so am I. I got His love and his peace and God continues to bless me. I have had more opportunity to be a blessing to others these last few days. I am singing with a choir of several churches this sunday evening for the Community Unity effort. consisting of several black brothers/sisters and white brothers/sisters coming together as one to magnify the Lord. Hallelujah. Going to be great. Have a practice for that one tomorrow. Then sunday morning of the same day I play the guitar for Praise and worship then take up the offering then play guitar for my Dad for special music. Then the following Tuesday night, practice for the Easter Program, shew. All for His glory.

This morning, service went very well in church. The Holy Spirit was with me when I did the offering. And the Community Unity Choir went very well also. There was some wonderful singing. It went too long, however. several people left during the program. Even though the music and singing was great. There was a sweet spirit in the building. And it touched everyone involved. Hope to do more of those.

The weather has been warm this couple days. Although there were clouds rolling around. It has been really nice. Things have been quiet here in the blog. Haven't had any visitors lately. That is okay, Jesus still lives in me and I can always talk to him. He never leaves me. Thank you Lord for another day. Though the day is cloudy, You make any day shiny and wonderful. I love you Lord.

How goes it in Tennessee? I've decided to go around and ask folks random questions about themselves.

So, Mr. Jo Mo, who are your favorite guitarists, and why?

Tennessee is looking great today. It is partly sunny today and warm. All around nice day.

As far as favorite guitarists. Lets see there is Eric clapton one of the most innovative player I have ever heard. I think because he is no stranger in the world of music and not just in the rock world. He has been involved in country music playing for some of countrys best names like Johnny Cash and the likes. He has been in folk, blues, and even the pop world. He covers just about all styles of music. Like me I like all styles of music even like to listen to J S Bach. Jimmy Page was one of most astounding artists of the guitar I have seen because of the many different colors of sound he used. Even experimenting with the violin bow on some of his songs. Very creative. Stevie Ray Vaughn was one of the last great guitarists to ever to strike the strings. I say last because they're will not be another like him. He has just about gone beyond the norm of innovative guitar playing. Pushing those strings to greater hieghts than they had ever gone before. What is amazing about Stevie Ray is the strings he used were heavy guaged, ouch.
I could name a few others like Joe Walsh, Jimi Hendricks, Johnny Winters, and etc, etc.. But the first three tops them all for me. Oh I forgot to mention Phil Keagy. I would put him some where under the top 3. Probably the best christian guitar artist of all. Well I guess that is it. I could probably think of others, but I am going too long.

Cooler temperatures has blown in through the Tennessee mountains today and there is word about snow on the way. Man I was so enjoying the warm weather. Can't wait when old man winter packs his bags and shoves off.
