| Today has been a real breather for me. It felt good to relax without being stressed about going in to work. AAHHHH, this is good. Praise and worship went well this morning. I enjoy playing the guitar for the Lord. Just wish we had a real band though, oops, thought I wasn't going to worry about that again. *SLAP onthe hand* Bad boy, Bad boy. Anyway, It felt great to fellowship around food with fellow christians without thinking about work for a change. It was very good.
Tomorrow is the day for the job interview and to check out that driving job I mentioned before. I want the latter. OHHH yeah.. . |

| That interview I had was OK except, it was not what I had in mind. The position was for a building maintenance man. I do not have all the skill for it except pushing a broom and squeaking windows clean. they wanted a repair man in one person. Fully loaded one. I went and put in an application for the driving job. should be hearing from them about an interview soon. I am still pulling for that one. I try not to worry about it, but I know deep down the Lord is taking care of it for me. |

| Was going to bed at 1:00am this morning looking out the window first and noticed it was beginning to snow, then layed down to sleep. This morning at 4:30am my wife woke me up to tell me that she wanted me to drive her to work. I looked out the window there was 2 inches of snow already and still snowing. How pretty it looks. It was 28 degrees with wind chill of 23. driving wasn't too bad, but they are calling for freezing rain sometime today. I am not looking forward to that. I can drive in snow with patches of ice here and there but not in freezing rain, its dangerous. |

| GOOD LUCK!!!
That's for your interview today! I am currently parying for it to go well!
And be careful on those streets.... I dispise driving on ice, and theres noting like a snow covered in a rain to slick things up....
Course, you're probably way better at driving on ice than I am....
Anyway, Let us know how that interview turns out!

| The interview actually went well. The man I was suppose to talk to was out. So they had another man do the interview in his place. He was real nice. He didn't make no bones about the job. He stated that the job was hard work, and that it required 12 to 14 hr.s 5- days per week to perform. He listed several tasks that was involved with it. Whew, Iam not sure if I can handle it. I went to put in an application at Office Depot. My pastor knows everybody there and He told me to put him down as reference. From what I understand they pay good.
I had to go to the employment office or now known as a Career Center to file claim for workers comp. for the days I am not making money. Thank God for that.
The snow has tapered off somewhat and the streets are pretty much passable. Kingsport City has been real good about getting the streets clear. But more snow, they say, is on the way. A lot of people including my Pastor, a Georgian, are loving it right now. But me I'm a pining for spring, Oh come quickly oh spring. I know, thats not scriptural. |

| What am I doing up at 12:44 am EST on CGR? Boy, I guess I am hooked on this site. I enjoy some of the humor and find some of it interesting and some kind of odd on CGR. I am glad that there is a site where christians can talk to each others from across the country and abroad around the world. Talking with fellow christians without being ashamed to profess Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. It is hard to relate this in the world with sinners. Sometimes you get a chance to share with someone but sometimes you just have to be an example without saying a word. Even actions show that we are christians. But being in the world when you are not of the world really make you feel out of place. When actually we do belong here as ambassadors for Christ. For His purpose. |

| I know just what you're talking about JoMo. I'm not even sure how I happened upon this plae, but I am thankful for it all of the time.
It's espescially nice because it is populated not just with devout believers (though thankfully it is) but with learned and earnest believers. I think the debates, while passionate, almost always end with everyone's edification.
All in all, a great place to be when up way too late at night

| Anything on the job yet? You are on my prayer list. I think I can understand some of the feelings you may be having with your job search. We have lived in this really small town for 11 years and some time during the next two years my tech job here will be eliminated. There are no more jobs like this around here. Chances are we will have to move and this is the only town my kids have really lived in, the only school they have attended, the only group of friends that they have every had. We are just trusting that God will provide and the He will help me prepare the family for possible relocation. Whatever his will is.
A couple entries back you said something about being in a real band. Well, I have been attempting to teach myself guitar for the past year (can't afford lessons) and with all of the stuff that I am running to for my kids, I don't get much time to practice either. I have made some headway and I am happy with where I am at but I have a really long way to go before I take it outside the house.

| Well, to continue the epic saga of my life. I am going to tell you what I did today. Now hang on to your seats. Today I got up and ate some old fashioned breakfast consisting of eggs, sausages, toast, and coffee. Then I went upstairs to the bathroom and scrubbed the bathtub wall and the tub itself. I cleaned it with some of this tub and tile stuff that would literally take your breathe away. While I was coughing my guts out and almost my breakfast to, I was thinking, " Gee, I wonder what everybody on CGR is doing right now."
This concludes todays episode. tune in tomorrow when we will hear bro. Jomo say, "Gee, I wonder what everybody on CGR is doing now."
I gotta get a job soon. This staying home business is starting to get to me.
And my wife is having me do all kinds of work around the home. Hurry Lord, please, hurry. I don't want to be reduced to a house keeper.
Hows that ya'll. Got nothing better to do than write an episode of my life just to make things interesting. |

| Well, today I went to put in another application at a vending business called GTS. They are listed as one of the 500 list of top businesses in the country by a leading business magazine called Inc.. I had to look over a list of requirements before I applied and on the list it said if you have tattoos anywhere you need not apply. Interesting isn't it? So I don't have any and that clears me to do it.
By the way I just signed up to Yahoo messenger and if anyone wants to talk to me there, go to my profile and get my ID and invite me to add you to my buddy list, see ya. |

| That tatoos thing really is a weird requirment. I wonder how/why they feel that is a justified thing to restrict on?
...Now I'm thouroughly interested...
As for your unemplyed stress, I sympathize completely!!!! I was unemplyed for about 2 months and I really thought I was going to loose my mind. It's just plain no good not having a job.
HEheee ever written code? I'm having a little trouble with some currently

| I have made my decision, actually re-affirming, that I will follow Jesus all my days. Yesterday I had a little falling out. I was given some slack about my beliefs in theology forum about tongues. I'm not going to worry about it. It is up to individuals to stand for what they believe. Jesus is my captain, The Holy Spirit my general, and God is my admiral. I will carry out what ever the orders are that my superior officers demand. The Lord lead me to do what I did in that forum. I think I understand why. Our enemies, Satan and his Elites, are launching an attack. The Lord just used me as a weapon of choice to attack the enemy camp. Mind you I said the devil not people. This is a spiritual war, not carnal weapons but spiritual weapons that are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. (II Cor. 10:3-5) And to bring into captivity every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Whew, that is powerful. Join with me all who dare to forge into this battlefield of Satans domain. Lets kick him out of Dodge City, heh? |

| well not much happened today. Just helped a couple of young ladies with a song that they are doing as a special in tomorrows service. The Potters Hand, a beautiful song. I am backing them up on the guitar. Bless their hearts they sing it with their hearts but off key. I'm praying the lord will help them sing in key. It is an opportunity for them to step out in faith and be used of the Lord.
My back is giving me trouble. Feel a little better than yesterday. I am trusting the Lord to heal it up for work somewhere. |
