| Marshall AVT's Hey,
Just wondering what you guys think of the Marshall AVT lineup. Does it compair to other hybrid amps? Does it compair to other Marshall? (I seriously doubt it!) What's your opinion. |

| it doesn't really compare to other Marshalls...it tries to play the hi-gain game, but isn't onyl mediocre at it (it's a semi-Marshall sort of sound...but not the real deal).
I can't think of any other hybrids in its class though. Personally I think they're better on the crunch side than the Fender Roc Pro amps...I've not heard the Vox Cambridge amps though, so I can't really compare there...what other hybrids are out there that I'm forgetting? |

| the cyber twin/deluxe are hybrid, but I was thinking more pure hybrids and not digital hybrids such as the Valvetronix amps and the Cyber series. |

| yeah...that's the reason the Cyber Twin is so freakin' expensive (it's also a very versatile amp, and better than any of Line6's amps in that range IMO). The interesting thing about the Cyber Twin and Deluxe is when you select a setting, the knobs move to a preset, and then you can tweak them from there...it's very...interesting. |
