But aren't there creatures that exsist now whose name does not change weither it's one or more? One deer... two deer not deers. My point is that just the name doesn't help in determining if it s a single creature or a species. But I would make one point. If such a creature exsisted in numbers and were able to reproduce, wouldn't our seas and oceans be empty now? I mean, it'd be like the movie 'Reign of Fire'. They'd just eat. Even if there numbers grew slowly, if nothing, except a literal army, could defeat them. They would be the dominate species now.
But I would venture one guess. No one have ever seen a living giant squid. Only what was left on the shore when one died. If the squids could avoid detection, how much more could one Leviathan?
Another question comes to mind. What happened to the serpent from the garden of eden? Some would say that it's part of the snake family and such but I beg to differ. The serpent could reason and speak. Even Jesus said that we should be wise as serpent and gentle as doves. Now, that species of serpent could have gone extinct because man hunted it down but I think that it'd be much smarter than that. I mean, it conned humanity our of our fellowship with God. How much harder is it to hide and live?
