Nope. I just happened to walk into guitar center and see it sitting there. I wasnt even going in to buy anything, but I had known I had wanted this amp for a while and I had the money so I got it.

Incredibly untrue. There's tons of good used amps out there. I would choose used over new any day because you can get a better deal for used gear and get a better product for the same price of something thats not as good. If you can play before you buy, thats even better, or if you can at least try a new one at a Guitar Center or something, then buy used somewhere else like eBay, thats generally better. But I bought my $800 rack without ever hearing them at all (except for popular bands that use it and hearing the good reputation of them) and I couldnt be happier. Just make sure you can trust who your buying from and that the amp is in good working order, then you should be fine.
