Dissonance is utterly delicious, especially when it resolves back to Consonnance, which is what Tension and Release is all about.

true... very true. i still dont quite have that art down yet of using that to my advantage. i think i'm starting to get it in my lead playing but tha'ts notes not chords so it's something to work at...

C#add4 and C#add11 are the same thing, although I would probably call it C#add4. But instead of using C#maj7sus4, I would use C#maj11. Once you have a 7th (whether major or minor) you cease to have added notes. Refer to this thread for more details on that.

Yep, Chesh, I'm pretty sure they're standard for sus2. It's a logical conclusion, anyway, because of the add2 and add9 notation, where the regular 3rd is involved, unlike in a sus chord
