| I waited till after RotK, and at this point I'd have to say SAM ALL THE WAY!
BUT I see great potential in Boromir and/or Faramir, maybe even Eowyn. I need to read the books so I can truly understand their character and make a right judgement. I mean Sam was noble and had a great heart, but it seems Faramir was just as much, except Faramir didn't have his best friend by his side. In fact considering the circumstances... wow, what a guy.
So yeah I need to read the books to decide. |

| Yes read the books. Faramir is so much better. He is awful in the movies. The screwed him up tenfold.

| aragorn! aragorn! aragorn! *squees like a rabid fangirl*
ahem, my vote goes to aragorn. hes brave and noble and kicks major butt. hes a king but hes down to earth. and hes dead sexy.

| I can't believe that after ROTK I'm the only one who said Frodo!!!!(what? look at my name! you actually expect me to vote for someone else?)
Actually, after ROTK, I was even more impressed with Wood and his skills. He's just good, no joust. But Sam was amazing as well, and he and Legolas would have gotten my vote as well if it'd been a multiple choice poll. I especially liked Sam in this last movie. Great job! Wowser. But then again, Frodo was incredible too. Lij is the kind of actor you could expect to do any sort of roll, with any director. He's just versatile, and does great wherever he is. Movie gets 5 stars!

| I cannot pick between my three favorites, in both movie and books.
Sam- The sweetest, most pure-hearted person imaginable. Has such cute dialogue, too!
Pippin- So lively and innocent and funny. Just a sweet character.
Eowyn- Much better developed than Arwen! Brave and nice, too. And I really like her and Faramir's love story in the ROTK books (that's not a movie spoiler!).
I really can't pick! |

| I would have voted Aragorn and Frodo as second, but I have to admit I am a major elf fan.

| For me it would have to be Aragorn. Some others are close behind. But Aragorn has to be my favorite. |

| You left Bill the pony off the list, again.
He never gets included.
I voted for Eowyn anyway.
Eowyn and Bill take first, then Eomer or Aragorn for second, and Faramir or Sam. Sam would have been first, but he ate/cooked rabbit. Which is a crime that knocks him down to third.
As you've probably noticed, I have two people for every placement. It depends on how I feel. If I'm mad at Eowyn for being too girly, then Bill is first. See?
