| Red Sky in morning. I don't wish to make a poem here, i just want to describe a very poetic experience in my life. I will make it first person in attempt to improve the imagery.
Leaning against the side of the tiny fishing boat i am lulled into a state of serenity by the rythmic lapping of the waves. As far as the eye can see in all directions is a dark sheet of silk rolling as if blown by a breeze from underneath. As the rising of the sun draws closer i am filled with courage and chance the slippery side of the boat, nearly falling once, taunting the roaring sea. I make it safely to the prow, sitting alone because my companions had not dared the dangerous path. So alone i stare into the abiss, left to toss about my own thoughts and aspirations. The sky is bright red, filled with the orange glow from the promise of the sun, as yet unseen. The red reflects off the black ocean's now violent surface to produce a warm glow of tranquility among the forceful blows of the watery fists against our steadfast vessel. There, i can't help but see God's glory, His absolute perfection. The balance of a peaceful sky meeting the terrible violence of the Sea. A masterpiece to defeat all human works of art without so much as an effort. I close my eyes and extend my arms to their fullest, God is worthy of all my praise. Feeling the force of His wind against my face and arms, I listen to the sounds of the coming day. It is the day that the Lord has made and i will rejoice in it. My solitude is only broken by the wonderful presence of the Lord, far surpassing the beauty of His own creation. |

<marquee> It's like that there's a music, playing in your ear And I'm listening, and I'm listening, and then I disappear And then I feel a change, like a fire deep inside Something bursting me wide open, impossible to hide And suddenly I'm flying, flying like a bird Like Electricity, electricity Sparks inside of me, and I'm free, I'm free </marquee> |

| Then you have MORE THAN achieved what you set out to do. It's easy to read and very vivid, which makes it almost a shared experience with the reader

Locked into a corner, up against the wall, I know you've been stumbling, trying not to fall. I can feel your sorrow, and I can share your pain I can hear the questions exploding in your brain. Walking in the shadows, feeling all alone; Looking for the answers, rolling every stone. 'Tis a run in silence, and laughing nearly came Though my eyes can't see you, I know we're much the same. -Just The Same, Phil Keaggy The sky is raining tears tonight My brother You know it's hard to sleep So far from home The moon has covered up her eyes My sister I thought I'd find you here But I am all alone All alone Light of Heaven Lord of mercy Shine the goodness Of your love upon this day Till we see you Till we know you Till the sorrow And the darkness fades away Fades away I searched the city streets today My father The tunnel and the train The river and the rain I walked beneath the harbor lights My mother And in the shadows there I call your name I call your name -Light Of Heaven, Fernando Ortega |
