Again, our opinions seem to clash. I loved their older stuff(especially their self-titled one). This one is nothing compared to their self-titled CD.

The self-titled CD is more grungish than techno. Any kind of grunge = good.

| I don't listen to skillet, or any christian music really anymore, but I used to be really into them. Collide is horrible compared to anything else they wrote. Extremely generic, written solely to try and get into larger markets.

| This was the first Skillet CD I got, and I loved it. John's voice is simply amazing, I think he has one of the coolest voices I've ever heard.
I bought Alien Youth at Spirit West Coast this year, and I liked it but not as much as Collide. Collide is just awesome. I got Comatose earlier today, so will hold off my opinions on which one I like better until I listen to Comatose more. I love Rebirthing and Whispers In the Dark.
I saw skillet live and it was extremely intense, I wanna say its probably the best concert I've seen.
Skillet seems to be labeled as hard, which I agree with but I love how they can be "softer" and yet intense as well, even in the same song, like the song collide for example. |

| Comatose is more melodic, Collide is more passionate.

| 9/10. One of Skillet's best albums! It takes on a more up front heavy sound than Comatose, but it works well. This is easily Skillet's most intense, and heaviest album. Everyone who's into Christian rock should own this CD! |

| This CD, in my opinion is the best album that Skillet has made so far. I give it a 10/10, because this CD in my personal opinion has the best encouraging lyrics. The lyrics relate to alot of personal problems that America's youth is facing. Also it has much more heavy rock material, and most of the techie sounds from the previous album "Alien Youth" are gone. So if you are more into the heavy stuff, this is your album. It certainly was MY album!
