[chorus]
My heart bleeds, I see you leave, you choose to go another way
My heart bleeds, I see you grieve, you stay away another day
If it was in my power I'd share my soul with you
Just let the love I know flow through
If it were up to me I'd give my life for you
Just to show what I say is true
My life and soul are nothing without God to make it real
My daily prayer's that you will feel
For if that God-shaped hole stays empty for much more
You will never heal
His love for you is greater than mine can ever be
He gave his life so you'd be free
His sacrifice was greater than the world will ever see
If it's not accepted heaven weeps. |
I like it, Bird Song. Flows well, i can hear a melody forming in my
own small mind, and i find if lyrics actually call forth their own
melodies, then, well, you have something there.
Be great to hear an MP3 on it.
Also, i can relate to the topic: it seems, unfortunately,
that many of the friends i have that
have the time, who are
not busy going to this retreat or that conference or doing
this ministry or that one . . . are my secular friends,
who just seem to have the time to hang out. So i consider
them precious. Would that they be pricked by the Word,
and who knows? That just might be why they are in my life.
Till then, i love them, enjoy them, and share our common
interests, and stand ready, as you, to give response of that
hope that resides within me.
And i agree with you in prayer for the eventual conversion
of MarieAnn.
