but you also have to remember how Hamlet dumped her after they consummated (if you will) remember the poem Hamlet wrote her as a break-up note? I don't remember verbatim what it said but I remember it was something like "I would have married you had you not given yourself to me." I think I have a copy of Hamlet I'll try and find that but the soonest I can post it is tomorrow. (long story why)

You (or your teacher) may have some serious misconceptions as to the point of a research paper if you think you need to cite sources regarding who died in Hamlet. What exactly is your research paper about?

Basicaly, the paper is about whom Hamlet actually killed in the play! I have to write a paragraph about each character that was killed in the play and explain their relationship to/with Hamlet and how he was/was not guilty of their death. It is my final exam grade. That is all.

Oh OK, then it is a research paper to determine if Hamlet is guilty for people's deaths...but you can find out how the characters actually died just by reading the Cliff Notes.
