| Cuiviénen, I believe.
This is a very tricky question from Unfinished Tales, so if nobody gets it right within a reasonable amount of time I'll ask another.
Who are the Valar that are associated with the Istari, specifically Gandalf, Saruman, and Radagast? I.e., who were the individual Valar who chose which of the Maiar would be sent as emissaries to Middle-Earth? |

| I believe the first to cultivate pipe-weed was the hobbit Tobold Hornblower of Longbottom in the Southfarthing in around 1070 S.R. |

And I'll accept either a broad answer (family name) or narrow answer (specific person).
If nobody gets it in a few days just answer the pipe weed question instead, and I'll post an answer when I can (finals week is upon me......). |
