He was killed in the Siege of Barad-Dur in the Battle of the Last Alliance. This is how he was slain.

Cuiviénen, I believe.

This is a very tricky question from Unfinished Tales, so if nobody gets it right within a reasonable amount of time I'll ask another.

Who are the Valar that are associated with the Istari, specifically Gandalf, Saruman, and Radagast? I.e., who were the individual Valar who chose which of the Maiar would be sent as emissaries to Middle-Earth?

It was Dior, son of Beren and Luthien.
Who were/was the Noldor who fostered Elrond and Elros as children, after the third Elf-slaying?

I believe the first to cultivate pipe-weed was the hobbit Tobold Hornblower of Longbottom in the Southfarthing in around 1070 S.R.

Nope. Think after Earendil went a-sailing and Elwing jumped into the sea.

And I'll accept either a broad answer (family name) or narrow answer (specific person).

If nobody gets it in a few days just answer the pipe weed question instead, and I'll post an answer when I can (finals week is upon me......).

They were kidnapped by the Sons of Fëanor, but more specifically by Maglor.
