Audacity
Lets you edit audio files, not just cut off the start and ending of a song, but cut out middle sections too. It also has tons of effects and plug-ins.

it is called the aqua dock. It is basically a pc imitation of the docklet thing on macs. Nifty little thing though gets annoying after a while and isnt worth it with the window start menu.

Hello kkid136, I've often thought about using audacity. How easy is it to use? Scale 1-10 (10 = so easy). How much is the sound Quality impacted. I like to save in mp3 vbr.

It's about a 7. The quality is hardly impacted at all.

If you work with WAVs, there is no quality loss that I know of.
