| CeCe Winans Pens Book for Integrity Music industry powerhouse gospel singer, CeCe Winans will be releasing her first book with Integrity Publishers January 28th, 2004 with the inspirational book, Throne Room. The book follows in the footsteps of the fall release of her CD, Throne Room (PureSpring/INO/Epic). As a new realm for this artist, CeCe feels honored to be reaching a new audience with this particular work.
“Worship is so important to me and my desire is that Throne Room will help usher people into the presence of the almighty.” CeCe admits. “It’s always humbling when the ministry that God has given me is stretched into new areas.” Throne Room beautifully describes the importance and practice of daily worship, while encompassing a biblical study of worship. The book also intertwines ideas to encourage readers in the lifestyle of worship, as well as including a special section of study questions that can be utilized for Bible studies, book clubs, and group discussions. Throne Room was written alongside Claire Cloninger, the six-time Dove Award winner for songs sung by Amy Grant, Sandi Patty, and Don Moen. CeCe believes that this combine effort created a perfect blend of ideas to bring individuals to a greater personal worship with Christ.
“Sitting down with Claire Cloninger and sharing with what the Lord had put on my heart was a very pleasurable experience. I believe that we connected, and we both have a clear vision of what this book needs to be. Both of us pray that hearts are turned towards God and that Throne Room becomes a part of everyone’s life.”
Just as CeCe’s listeners can hear the passion behind her voice, readers will be able to read her devotion to lead individuals into the presence of God. CeCe explains that the message of her projects is to share with the reader that worship is a part of everything that we do. Throne Room firmly teaches others that our heart and mind must be given to the Lord for all His glory and our Father is seeking true worshippers who will worship Him everyday. CeCe believes that this is key in our society.
“The times we’re living in are tough, and we must learn how to worship because that will be our refuge. If we will learn to worship, then we’ll be ok.” |
