We don't have majors and minors in the UK (although you can do combined courses such as English/History or French/German). I'm doing English at the University of York.

Locked into a corner, up against the wall,
I know you've been stumbling, trying not to fall.
I can feel your sorrow, and I can share your pain
I can hear the questions exploding in your brain.
Walking in the shadows, feeling all alone;
Looking for the answers, rolling every stone.
'Tis a run in silence, and laughing nearly came
Though my eyes can't see you, I know we're much the same.

The sky is raining tears tonight My brother You know it's hard to sleep So far from home The moon has covered up her eyes My sister I thought I'd find you here But I am all alone All alone Light of Heaven Lord of mercy Shine the goodness Of your love upon this day Till we see you Till we know you Till the sorrow And the darkness fades away Fades away I searched the city streets today My father The tunnel and the train The river and the rain I walked beneath the harbor lights My mother And in the shadows there I call your name I call your name

So really, "What is the air speed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?"
It's quite simple:
Drag on a body in a fluid is:
D = 1/2 (Cd*pi*r^2*rho*Vo^2) Cd = coefficient of drag of the swallow pi = 3.1415... r = radius of bird cross-section (approximating as a circle) rho = viscosity of air Vo = velocity For steady state flight, D (drag) = T (thrust), so:
------------------------------
| Vo = sqrt(T/Cd*pi*r^2*rho) |
------------------------------

This is beginning to annoy me. Could you correct the spelling of "stuides" or take it out completely. Most place have the major as simply "Communication."

I'm thinking of doing something with biblical studies, philosophy, and political science. I might major in biblical studies with a worldviews concentration and double minor in philosophy and political science, or maybe double major in biblical studies and philosophy, I'm not sure yet. Unfortunately, the school I'm at right now (Montreat College) doesn't offer philosophy or poli. sci. as majors or minors, so I'm probably either going to transfer to another school or do a type of exchange program where I take classes at another school but remain enrolled at Montreat. If I do the exchange program, I'll probably take classes at UNC at Chapel Hill...even though I'll always be a Duke fan

I'm majoring in Forestry at the University of Montana. I might pick up a minor in something sometime soon, maybe Wildlife Biology or History, but for now I have nothing.

I'm a Music Major at The Master's College in Santa Clarita. I don't have an emphasis. Either vocal or piano and possibly in the area of church music or even just Music Education.
