| Ah, Yes, I Remember It Well... Hey, y'all, I've decided to start a CGR blog, and it looks kind of lonely in the E section, so here I am!
I just got my first emerald, all right! I don't post too much, so I hope what I say is worthwhile (even if it is merely worthwhile in a cheap way, ha, as is often the case)!
I did nothing but school today. It was an OK day, I guess. We had a speaker for Bible class (I go to a Christian school) that really blew my mind! Wow, that's an 80's expression, but anyway, he told us all these facts. 2 billion out of the worlds 6.1 billion people are children in need! The line for extreme poverty is making less than a dollar a day. Without all the child labor going on in other countries, America's economy would crash because all the prices would go up because they'd have to pay adults to work. He told us such horrible stuff! I really want to do something, I'm thinking so hard of what to do, and praying, too, because I can't know these things now and just let them go. It was easier before I knew, LOL, but now I do and I have to think about it. Ouch, raised accountability!
I'm working on a precis for history class right now. We also have a term paper due Monday after next in English. Ugh, mine is on Pride and Prejudice, which is a fabulous book, but so long! I'll have to work on it tonight. I hope I get time to go on a walk, I need SOME sort of exercise. I've been eating so badly lately. But today I skipped breakfast and got extremely sick during the presentation in Bible. Not so good!
If anyone feels like praying, my request would be that I would stop procrastinating so much! You can see how serious the problem is, ha, b/c I am writing this while I should be doing my papers. So that's my ongoing struggle for now!
Well, peace out. I hope someone posts in this thing, or I shall feel lonely in the cyberworld!

| Hi, Michelle! I am grateful for any post in my rookie blog, no matter how cheap, haha. Rep for you!
I'm very sad that we can't put full lyrics in our post, darn. I really want to post the lyrics to "Your Song" by Elton John (which is quoted in my sig). Oh, well, I recommend looking them up (but don't use letssingit.com/, someone messed up their version, ha. )
And you can tell everybody
This is your song
It may be quite simple but
Now that's it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind
That I put down in words
How wonderful life is
While you're in the world!
Great song! (That is less than half of the song, isn't that the rule?)

| Hey, y'all, time for more futile updating!
I have had a very big... turmoil in my dating life (oh my goodnes! I actually ALMOST had a dating life! ), but I don't really wanna talk about that, meh. Let's just say I'm a little weirded out still.
I got to stay home from school today because I've been kind of stressed out and messed up lately. But I don't even get to stay home and relax, because I have two big papers due next week so I have to work on those!
If I work hard enough, however, I will get to go to Austin this weekend to see my school's football team have playoffs! So that will be awesome, I just hope I can get enough done!
Recent CDs- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by Flaming Lips, Hard Candy by Counting Crows, Two Lefts Don't Make a Right... But Three Do by Relient K.
EDIT: I had messed up my smileys, LOL, so I fixed them. Being honest here!

| Hooray! A post in my blog! From a cool Aussie person! Maybe soon I'll have two pages, whoo!
Haha, here I am procrastinating again, I'm on a school computer playing online and working on layout for school newspaper simultaneously (so not procrastinating... multi-tasking!)!
I forgot to mention, check my cool icon and matching sig colors (which are kind of tacky colors in themself but match the avatar well!). Yay for the Flaming Lips!
I just had a history exam that I didn't get to study that much for, but I actually think I did well, all right! A decent day so far, let's just hope English isn't too bad. My stomach always growls in that class, so embarrassing! We don't get lunch until 1:15 and that class is right before!
Well, must get back to PagePlus! *waves at all nice posters and readers* |

| Hi Emilove.
My stomach is infamous for growling at inappropriate times.
It always seems to get extraordinarily loud during church.
and funerals.
and hot dates.
What is PagePlus?

| my tummy was growling today while I was watching a movie. Growling tummys are hard to control too, you've just got to let it rumble. |

| Whoo, this weekend was pretty fun! I left almost right after school for Austin (I rode with my friend Lindsay and her family and this teacher they were driving). It was very fun, I got my hair straightened by Lindsay (and my eyes nearly poked out when she tried to do my makeup!)and hung out with people from school a bit and ate out at restaurants and yelled a lot at the football game, which our school unfortunately lost! It was very rainy, we had to sit under umbrellas half the time. Now I'm home and about to begin MORE work on my stupid English paper, which is due tomorrow, so I'll soon be DONE with it all! *evil, joyous laugh*
I shall now answer the questions of the nice people who posted in my blog!
TheaterGeek (AKA Lou)- I'M SORRY YOU COULDN'T COME TO AUSTIN! *weep weep* I told you all about it though! (Note to those who may not know: TheaterGeek is my OTHER friend named Lindsay, more often called Lou! We go to the same school.)
Zoe- PagePlus is this publishing program we use where you lay out papers or newsletters or whatever. I have to put articles and pictures and stuff together and make a good-looking newspaper page (or actually now I have to do several pages, agh)!
coldtoedpunker (whose name is Matt, right?)- I play guitar, and I think I've played kazoo before, ha. I want to learn drums, but lack a drumset to learn on at the moment! I'm in a band, yay, but I'm just rhythm guitar because I haven't played for that long yet, so it seems like I'd be more useful drumming, LOL, because we are just using a drum machine now.
I wouldn't mind the stomach rumbling except I sit right by two guys who are considered really "cute" and stuff and I don't want their attention drawn to my digestive functions, hahaha! |
