| Every Move I Make - Variations/Suggestions We (the band I am in) are playing Every Move I Make, and the other guitarist is using an acoustic and he plays mainly rythm, while I play my electric wit some distortion on the Chorus. I was wondering if anyone had any lead stuff I could play to make it more interesting, while he is playin' rythm. Or if there were some power chords or what not I could incorporate some how.
I hope that made sense....I'm tired....its past my bed time........

I guess you could use that for the verse sometimes for different chords, although the D sounds kinda funny...it's more of a D/F#, but I don't know another D that preserves the same sound that the C and G dictate...

It had the lyrics and since I'm not supposed to post them I just deleted the lyrics, leaving the chords were they would be normally. I have tried playing the intro riff for the Nananana part, but it just doesn't sound right to me. Anyone have anything else to play there?

| Since the chords are G, C, D, C for the song, use Gminor Pentatonic to solo in....The changes aren't too too fast, so you should be able to do some fun lead.......

Use either the G major pentatonic or E minor pentatonic if you want to use a pentatonic for your soloing.

Even if you use the RIGHT pentatonic scale for the song, you still would not "randomly play stuff" nor would you simply follow "a pattern". Music is not random, but neither is it formulaic. There are rules and guidelines that you should understand, but there is also a great possibility of creative freedom.

| Umm... you should use the TIME SIGNATURE (metre) of the song (which is 4/4), but you could use whatever RHYTHM you wanted.

All I really remember about that song (which we haven't played in a LOOONG time, thank heaven) is that we use the normal G-C-D-C progression for the "na na"s.

Of course, the entire song is pretty high on the stupid scale, but that refrain just takes the cake. I don't think there's a word to describe that level of vacuosity.
