For a friend...

Hey guys... I have a friend who has just started singing and asked me to do her a favour.... she asked me if I could get some people to listen to some recordings that she did and get their comments on them... I know this sounds like a rather unlikely story but she doesn't have access to the internet so I had to post them for her... have a listen and say what you think!

Perhaps that would be why it didn't attach then... it is a .wav file so it is rather large... is there any way to compress it or something?? I am kind of new to this whole recording stuff stuff...??

Btw, a very good and pretty easy way to compress wavs is to simply convert them to mp3

Ok, sorry it took so long. Your friend, in the first song, is kind of coming in on the notes quietly, which isn't the best technique. now, that might well be a thing to do with singing for a microphone/recording, but quite important to take note of. She's got some good sound there, but I think she could do with... maybe just loosening up a bit or whatever? Yeah, that would probably be it. If she sung a little more open in her mouth it would work too. Is that helpful? Should I listen to the second one as well? I think that she has a lovely voice by the way, encourage her to keep it up.

Nice. I couldn't figure out the words she sings though
Like phats already said, it's too quiet. And she has a very nice voice.

By the way, find some way to encourage her. Because I do know some people who have VERY nice voices, but they are too shy to sing.

Best Regards,
Danny
