| Post your favorite pictures Kind of like sheep's thread, but everyone post their favorite pics they've taken.
Here's one from the Bible camp I used to work at, on a night when the moon was just huge. The shutter speed was left on for a few seconds, which is why the moon looks non circular... |

| Ohh, I like the last two. Wing shots are always cool.
I thought I'd run around CGR and become a bit more involved, and since I am into art/design/photography, here I am.
This is probably one of my favorite shots, if not the favorite. I took it here in Dallas, at Thanksgiving Square(I think is the name of it). It's this small little chapel building, spiraling around. Really pretty place to visit. Entitled, "Glory."

and that shot is sweet. I've seen someone do a similar thing, but done matrix style with flash. It moves and stuff. Really insane looking. I'll look for the site.

Here's a 30-second exposure of myself playing with a flashlight. I wish it were as simple as that because it took me a LONG time to set up . It was for a photography class and meant to demonstrate blur action. |
how did you do that
wouldnt your arm be blurred if you were moving it all around like that...IM CONFUSED |

This is done with shockwave and who knows what else...It is matrix style of what you did. You just select one of the tags at the bottom and then it loads up a different series of crazy crazy shots.

| Yeah, so last night our band was playing at this Halloween thing we called ROCKTOBERFEST. Some people were in costumes, most were not. My friend Mark got this banana costume to wear that night... I had my digital camera. I saw him heading for the bathroom and I thought to myself, "Self, you know it would be funny to have a picture of a banana using the bathroom..." so I followed him. The first picture is the result.
The second picture is one I took with the same camera about 3 weeks ago. A couple friends and I were hanging out at a coffeehouse and I just kept snapping random photos; most of them being of my friend Carrie who is pictured here. Of all the pictures I took (about 40) this one and one other one are the only two that were of "photographic merit", if you will. The others were more or less just snapshots. I guess when you consider I was just randomly pointing the camera without aiming much then two great photos out of 40 ain't half bad. I had a project in my digital photography class to use effects and text creatively to make a composition. I used this picture because I thought it was cute (she hated me taking all the pictures, though! muahahaha) and captured her personality a lot. I made it black and white and added a sepia tone to it among other effects for the background and whatnot. Took me longer to find the perfect quote than it did to edit the photo, but it turned out really well, so I framed it and gave it to her for putting up with my incessant picture snapping.

| #1 - The original picture of the one in my sig.
#2 - A larger version of my sig pic, edited, of course.
#3 - I saw a book by R.C. Sproul with a maple leaf on the cover, but I mistook for something else initially, which changed my perception of the title.
#4 - This is just too cool not to post.

| I hate the wires... heh
Seriously, that's why I like the third picture. It's hard to take a picture of anything nowadays without some sort of man-made CRAP (i.e. wires, poles, cell towers, etc.) polluting the picture of God's creation.
