I see your point. I had to spend a couple hundred on the cheapest guitar & amp out there before my mom was convinced I was committed to the intrument enough to spend
only $600 to get decent gear. Of course, that deal I got was an incredibly good deal.

. So, I overspent $200 on crap gear before I could get decent gear.
So, that advice I gave was just a
better, not an
easier, way to do it.
