I think i got just the thing for ya man! Here is 2 prs style guitars that you might want to check out from samick (one is same as what Major Tom has got)
And one has a Wilkinson temolo that alone sells for over 80 bucks and good tuners! And here is a DC http://www.rondomusic.bigstep.com/it...8&PRID=1325855 All these deals are really unbelieveable and have gotten Excelent reviews on Harmony-central.com and they have great customer service so returns are very easy if you don't like it! so definately check em out!

Thumbs up

Those are SUWEET lookin' axes for the bucks, that last one pretty much looks like a copy of the Les Paul DC. Agile gets good reviews, I've never seen one myself, but I have probably seen one with another brand name on it made by the same people...
Like I said before, Samick changed that SPN4500-QF, mine is nato and has the different headstock inlay, but if its made in the same factory to the same quality standards, I can tell you that it is definitely a pro-grade instrument at an unbelievable price!

My advice - stay away from that fru-fru vine inlay on the fretboard junk...

I see your point. I had to spend a couple hundred on the cheapest guitar & amp out there before my mom was convinced I was committed to the intrument enough to spend only $600 to get decent gear. Of course, that deal I got was an incredibly good deal. . So, I overspent $200 on crap gear before I could get decent gear.

So, that advice I gave was just a better, not an easier, way to do it.
