Half-Life 2

...has now been delayed because someone stole the source code for it. Now we have to wait until next April.

Lovely.

As long as they don't delay it for another year after that and release it on x-box months before pc.

I'm glad they decided to rewrite the source code rather than release on-schedule and just let the consumer deal with the hacks and cheats that would be ubiquitous.

I'm appalled that the most recent thread on the subject of Half-Life 2 (according to my search, anyway) is over a year old. SHAME!

So, the release date has now been officially set for November 16th. I am so psyched.

There's a copy headed to my home already. To me the original Half-Life was the greatest FPS ever made. Playing through it was a big surprise. I too am psyched.

Heya,

Heck YEAH!

I've been playing CS:Source for a while, due to having an ATi voucher - so as soon as HL2 is released, I'll be getting it via Steam.

I really love Steam.

I've been playing it a lot, too. Due to, um, BitTorrent. Haha. But I do plan on pre-ordering HL² this Friday, at which point I'll be able to acquire it legally through Steam.

I predict that this game will once again revolutionize the FPS genre.
