| Sucks I loved this game till i got to the end... The end is sooooo rushed, there's no real final baddie, i was soooooooo disappointed with the ending i deleted the game quickly, right after i beat it, but i needed the room for recording my cd anyway. black metal deserves the room! lol
anyway, I love Unreal2004, it's a sweet game, i love playing it so if any of you do, add me as a buddy, i'm DarkArchon

see ya! | i thought the ending, in fact the whole story line, was lame. I was supremely disappointed with the story line. The graphics were superb, don't get me wrong. And why can't Valve make a character that actually interacts with the other NPC's of the game. Why couldn't they go into more detail. Who are the combine, what happened between half-life 1 & 2, what is going on in general. They leave a lot of stuff untouched and it is just Freeman being pushed around by Alex, Eli Vance, and Dr Kleiner. I hope the expansion pack goes into more detail. |

| You need to install Steam in order to run HL2.
It's an extreme measure taken against anti-piracy.
For me, HL2 took 3 hours to set up, other people were not nearly as lucky. |

| I had steam installed. Apparently my firewall was blocking somehow. I did go ahead and buy it and I think it took me about the same time to set it up. But when I did get it running, hoo boy!

| Yipes, it's been a long time since anyone has posted in this, but I figured this would be better than creating a new thread.
I played Half Life 2 and the other episodes on the Orange Box and they ares seriously some of the best games I have ever played. Right now I'm going to back through Episode 2 to try and get the Little Rocket Man achievement. After that I'll try the Episode 1 achievement where you go through the game and only fire one bullet.
