| How hard is it to play at parachute?
Don't they have a special stage for like non-massive bands?
Our band (well the pianist, drummer and I) were thinking about playing there one year.
If no one can tell me, then I shall investigate!

| I believe you have to register your band with Parachute Kepa, they have a website.
When is the Parachute? Over a weekend right? |

| The monday is a public holiday but the friday isn't, it doesn't properly start 'til friday night, but to get a good campsite you need to be queing (?sp) for a couple of hours before gates open.

| Nix, it starts on Friday but you can get there on a Saturday. It's a good idea to buy your ticket beforehand, though. It goes through to lunchtime on Monday, or thereabouts. It is definitely worth going; I've gone the last four years. It's always been encouraging to me in my faith and you learn heaps. Plus Paul Colman Trio is there, and of course the main attraction is me *grins*
Kepa...it's called Atomic stage. Boy, I'm into "directly addressing" people a lot today!
