I have a ukulele, I bought it last time I was in Hawaii. i play guitar so I figured I could play it and I got a lil teaching book and everything but i know like two chords. so does that count? Rock on those who play it. It's so tiny.

Just play like the top four strings of a guitar. Except that you have to change the
key. Think of the uke as the top four strings of a guitar capo-ed at the
5th fret.

My sister got a baritone Uke for one of her college classes, and I've been teaching her some stuff her teacher doesn't go over. It's a lot easier than guitar, being only four strings, so when I've been playing that for a while it takes a few minutes to adjust to the two extra strings on the guitar. It's awesome, though. I think she kind of feels bad that I'm not taking the class and I'm playing so well on it, and she's just a beginner, so I'm trying to back off. I have been teaching her some basic guitar chords, since we play together a lot, and we switched instruments for one night. She definitely prefers the Uke.
