Hey out there,
Anybody know where I could get sheet music for todays biggest christian hits? Better yet do you know of a site where I could get them for free. I can't find anything good anywhere I want to join my worship team but first things first...sheet music. Thanks a lot.

Hey.

Sax is an awesome part of worship music, but I don't usually use music. I generally make up my own parts. I started by playing the bass notes (mimicking the bass). What I currently do is play in the spots where there's no singing (like a lead guitar part). I.E. "I'm trading my sorrows" Little riff.

What I do may not be the best, but it works.

Learn every major scale very, very, very well. Study basic music theory (know what makes up different chord structures). Try humming or singing a part you might play on sax along to a song you know well. Be patient.
