| I need some help Hello, I am looking for some help. I have created what I think is some pretty good music for all of the book of Ephesians and the first 10 1/2 chapters of Romans. I have a ADAT project studio and have recorded what is essentially a 'scratch' tape of Ephesians, and could quickly do the same for any passage in Romans up to Romans 11:15.
Would anybody like to listen to a specific passage of my music with a view toward: 1) evaluating its usefulness as a scripture memory tool 2) evaluating the musics potential as a basis of forming scripture worship music 3) collaborating with me by providing some form of accompanyment to the existing song. If after listening to the "scratch" version anyone wants to try this I could supply the selected passage in ADAT, DAT or CD format, maybe with a click added, maybe with the vocal added or cut 4) "Tweaking" the performance, up to and including re-recording the entire passage.
My style is a James Taylor, Don McClean kind of sound. I find a ballad, storytelling music style very appropriate for applying music with the scripture.
My ultimate goal would be to put the whole bible to music. In every language. And get the music so good that word for word scripture songs flood the "Christian Music" scene. That could change the world, if the Saints knew the bible by heart. I have reason to believe God will bless this. I think the scripture is clear that the Lord delights in and is honored when the whole body comes together.
I only use the NIV bible. I do not mean to be rude, but please do not assault me with any KJV only comments.[FONT=Arial] |
