| There are some really good books out there, but the only one I can think of at the moment is The Tube Amp Book by Aspen Pittman (the owner of Groove Tubes). I'll look and see what else I can find for you. Go down to your local library and see if they have any older electronics books...often there will be chapters on building small tube amps, and why they work. These books are usually older (most newer books cover only solid state electronics), and in the electronic section. Radio books also have alot of good information (again, these will be mostly older books), and there are probably some good sites that will have some info.
