| How are you doing? How are you handling the issues at hand? I'm wondering, now that we're a way's down the line, how people have reacted and are reacting to the news from General Convention. Things are beginning to be quite sensitive at my church. Two of our ministry staff have said that the only hope they have for remaining in our church is that the meeting of primates in October might vote to excommunicate the ECUSA, severing all communion with them, and establishing a more orthodox Anglican community in the USA. All around me, I'm beginning to see schism open beneath me, and I don't have a great deal of hope that it can be sewn up.
I'm not asking for outsiders' opinions about the matter of the election of a gay bishop. We've been through that enough. I want to hear from Episcopalians, Anglicans, and formers who are dealing with the pain resulting from this summer's events.
