Wassup rainman? Slickshoes is awesome. So is Ghoti Hook. You listen to any Five Iron Frenzy? So how's the weather up there? Are you gonna vote for me in the "Vote for the Prince of CPF" thread? Do you have a band?

I haven't listened to much of the newer five-iron-frenzy, just their first album. so, no. Weather here is pretty hot and sunny lately. should be getting cooler soon. I am in the process of making a band. we just need to see if the bass player will agree to join, and then we need to find a singer.

I just got back from the Seattle Mariners' game! We won 7-4!

That was the first time i didn't sit in the nosebleed section. 100 level seats! It was a fun game. Very exciting. I got to eat garlic fries. Those are esentially french fries smothered in garlic. good stuff!

Totally cool. What kinda music will you be playing? Will you be writing songs? And what members do ya have already for the band?

Lets see,

As of yet, we are not writing songs. I, personally, am writing some songs, though. I have to find the singer and bassist before i know what style we are playing.

As of late, i've been listening to Saves the Day, Joe Satriani, and the Eagles. Yesterday, I played some P.O.D., Jets to Brazil, and some of my own songs on the guitar.

ahhh go Eagles!!!!!!!! *breaks out into New York Minute*

Writing songs, eh? Swell. I appreciate your musical standpoint, Jon. I don't really like musicians that don't write their own music, ya know? It's just so fake.
Except, cover artists can be good b/c they are up-front about it.

Thank you. I just wish I had a full band to jam with. so far, I've only one band that's jammed on our original material. Only time i've actually jammed with these two guys, where we were just making up stuff as we went along, and it sounded the best out of any band i've played in.

yeah, well, savor the moments you have to jam. my friends were constantly starting bands and then ending them because having more than 2 people made it complicated as far as when to practice is concerned. (not to discourage you, of course)

I should start a band like the White Stripes... Only 2 people!

Well, the only problem I have is to find the musicians in the first place. Those other guys I jammed with are like me, thaey could play drums, guitar, and bass. We would just switch off instruments. It was pretty neat!

That's fantabulous! Impressive, too. Would you say that you guys played all the instruments well?

You know what would be even cooler than that is having both of you switch off instruments like you said you can. Your band would be , and word of mouth would probably publicize nicely.

I'd say we could play all the instruments well, but one guy was a better bassist, but we could quite easily switch off instruments.

Today was very boring. feel like i did about the same thing as yesterday. But, i guess most of life is just like that, monotony...
