Those are the kind of things that they like to leave out many times to save money (for them anyway).
Do note that you can only record two tracks at one time...which means two inputs. So a guitar and vocals or a guitar direct and with a mic...stuff like that is all you can do at once. If you're wanting to record drums with anything more than a "room mic" then you'll need a seperate mixer to run your mics into and just run the line out from that mixer to one track of the digital recorder. That also means you can't adjust individual drums (EQ, volume, reverb, etc.) after they've been recorded because you'll be affecting the entire sound of the drums. You might be aware of all that already, but just making sure. A digital recorder like that is great for putting down demos for the band to practice to when you're not together or just to listen to yourself to improve on things.
