Looking for an "in"
I'm looking to buy a good beginner-mid keyboard. I'm going to learn how to play, I have most of the theory down from playing guitar, but I'm looking for a good middle of the road keyboard. Not anything professional, but I want something that's decent. Any ideas?

Spend at least 200$ - Go for weighted keys too.

It also might just be better to buy a midi-controler and a sound module than a cheap beginners keyboard.

actually, if you are wanting a beginner/mid keyboard, then expect to pay more that $1000. I think there are a few threads on this back a few pages, look through them and you should find some good info from KeyboardFreak

I think when people are used to guitars and other instruments they don't realize how expensive a good keyboard is. What I'm trying to say is at the very least don't buy a casio or Walmart keyboard.

Keyboards are CHEAP when compared to cellos and pianos and the like.
