| Are you an introvert or extrovert? I have been reading/studying a lot about personality types lately and it has sparked my interest. I decided to post a poll. In case you don't know, the general definitions of each are:
introvert: Likes to be alone. Is mild mannered, quiet, and does more thinking than talking. Extroverts do not understand introverts.
extrovert: Hates to be alone. Likes the big crowds. Carries out thought process by thinking aloud. Introverts do not understand extroverts.
I myself am an introvert. |

| I'm a bit of both. I can be a really quiet person and not talk at all for over an hour. Other times I am freaking loud and rowdy. |

| Introvert.
In certain situations I can be exroverted, but I'd rather stay at home and read a book than go to a party...usually.
I think I go too far when I do act like an extrovert.

| I am decidedly introverted. My mom is an extrovert, so she's constantly trying to strike up conversations with me throughout the day while I'm trying to read or just sit and think. It annoys me greatly. But on the flip side, I can't stand being completely alone. I always have to be talking to someone to be content (though, this usually takes place online while I can converse, and still keep to myself). I typically get really nervous in large crowds of people who I don't know. I avoid parties and large get-togethers like the freaking plague, unless I have a really good reason not to....
And now I am rambling, because it is 4 AM, and I just endured almost three hours of MTV programming. Thus, my brain is rotted.
I think I'm going to shut up now. |

| Oh come on. What's with all of this gray area? Don't you know that things exist in black and white? This is ruining my survey! |

#11 | | MARRIED!!! | I'm introverted in impersonal, alone situations, but when with good friends, I can be rather extroverted, but then again it also depends on my mood. |

| I can be an introvert when I'm by myself or with people whom I do not know. It doesn't bother me to be by myself for long periods of time. However, I'm easily an extrovert when I am with at least 1 friend. If I met a friend that day, I usually can't stand being by myself (or quiet) for the rest of the day. |

| I'm more of an introvert. Usually quiet, need my thinking time - it annoys me to no end that my parents get upset whenever they see me sitting and thinking or reading. On the other hand, I do need a lot of time with friends, and feel drained when I don't, but that mostly applies to those I'm closest to. |

| Well I don't like HUGE crowds but I have a big family that I've grown up with so I can certain enjoy a bigger crowd with good friends or family. I love hanging out with my friends and family and I'm for the most part pretty outgoing so I'd have to say I'm extrovert. However I'm a deep thinker and I do need my time alone to think, pray, read, and just hang with the me and the Lord .
