| I am mainly an extrovert, though I do exhibit introvert qualities at times - just not as much as extrovert.

I prefer quiet to shy, though. |

My ex-girlfriend was just as quiet and introverted as I am, and the relationship failed miserably. We were both so quiet that when we talked to each other, it was just solid awkward silence for the vast majority of the conversation. On the flip side, the girl I'm dating now is extroverted, so when we're on the phone, she talks my ear off while I just sit there listening.
An introvert/introvert relationship would probably have more trouble with communication, simply because both have quiet, passive personalities, and an extrovert/extrovert relationship would probably have more trouble with disagreements and arguments, because both have a more dominating personality.
Does that make sense? |

Does that make sense? | Perfectly.

| I think the most important rule, the rule upon which all other rules hinges, is that your partner is living.

The extrovert may think that he/she is the problem or did something wrong when the introvert is really only simply being an introvert.
| yup, I have an extrovert guy-friend, and when we first met he thought I was mad at him all the time coz I didn't talk much he thinks my sister never shuts up....
I'm introvert and my best friends are too....

#74 | | Cool enough Administrator | I'm very introverted lately. I haven't wanted to be around anyone. I have these periods... but I also get lonely sometimes. |
