Just thought I'd stop by.

Hey, what's up?
a bad caffine withdrawl headache had it most of the day too, woke up feeling dehydrated and felt like my body was detoxing all day so I drank a LOT of water. unless you're into health and nutrition, that's pretty dull.
but back to health and nutrition anyway, I decided this 'spot' on my foot was a planter wart, so I started treating that. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I worked this afternoon/evening. Not much else. It went from like 60º to 30º today. It might snow flurry tonight. I've been surfing the Long Hair Community forums, and growing my hair out. Here is my long hair webpage oneKnight.com
not much else

I wish it was 30 degrees here. That would be warm! Oh well, I'm going to florida next week and hopefully it'll be warmer there.

Water is good.

A long hair website interesting.

hey....I haven't been on CGR in a looong time. I got fed-up with a bunch of immaturity that was going on for a while. I've been living on, surfing *other* message boards. I actually got to know the latest VB version on LHC, not on CGR!!! jejejeje

recently I've been to my senior prom, started going out with the guy I took, gone to the spring banquet, TURNED 18, etc. and, my hair is getting longer

Saturday May 8th was my graduation!!!! I'm officially out of school!!!!!
My grandparents (on dad's side) came, and my 3 aunts (and their husbands)on that side, and my step-granddad brought some guy named David that was related to him somehow but I'd never seen him before. My grandpa on mom's side came, my grandma is still in the hospital (she had a stroke April 30th), and my aunt & uncle on that side had to work. Matt and his mom also came. It was crowded, and I was getting hugs from so many people, people I'd never met before, it was a little too much for me since I'm usually anti-social and anti-touchy. But I was obligated. *sigh*

I need to write about my trip to Petit Jean - last Monday, May 10th. I haven't felt like writing much lately, but I feel that I need to record things.

Today, I went to my own church - seperate from my family. But not alone, I took my bf Matt. It's officially been one month since we became official. Wow, and I decided not to go see him tonight! Oh well, we are goin to see Troy tomorrow.
Met my family at the hospital to eat lunch with my grandma again. She's doing better, her memory is failing her sometimes but she is definately otherwise "all there" They're talking about keeping her a week or two longer if the therapy keeps helping, and then she's just gonna hafta be in a wheelchair. It'll be MUCH different, but hardly the end of the world.

Monday, May 17, 2004 - Troy
Today, aftet school, Matt came up here and we went to see Troy. This was not a make-out-fest! I actually go to movies to SEE the movie! There's also the fact that Matt and I don't kiss so that would kinda ruin a make-out session It was a good movie, about 3 hours long though. The first 2 hours go by quickly, then there's about a 20 minute action lag, and then it ends with gusto. After a big war, and they start talking for a while - go to the bathroom then
After that, we went to play pool - something we could do while standing up. (Three hours of sitting makes you not want to sit anymore for a while.) I won, I am just better at pool than he is - but I'm really not THAT good.
After that, we went to get food from Sonic (as usual) and we got "the usual" (one #1 with everything but cheese & one #7 with cheese and mayo, fries and Dr. Pepper) and we ate at his house. Watched part of The Last Samari too. It started pouring just in time to come home, so drove slowly. It was fun.
Yesterday was one month since I started 'goin out' with Matt. He's the first guy I've ever really liked.

Tuesday, May 18, 2004 - Vote!
I worked at a polling place, collecting signatures for the marriage ammendment - then I drove to my place and VOTED! Yay! I voted for the first time in my life! 'Course, I only voted for the people that I knew who they were, so I left some blank coz I didn't know who they were or WHAT they were running for! I'll be a little better by
November, I promise. After that, I went to work. I stood up too much earlier on top of my 5 hours of work, coz my feet hurt and usually they don't. I got off at 21:00, Matt didn't get off till 22:00 but I waited for him. We wore these Shreck 2 hats with ears all day. When I got there at 16:00 most everyone was wearing them, but by the end of the day it was just Matt and I. After work, Matt and I sat together in the back of my truck (as usual). I was a little hyperish, and high-strung, I think it's just PMS-related coz aunt flo is expected Thursday, though she hasn't been sending the usual warnings. *shrugs* Anywayz, Matt was being very quiet. It is nice, to just sit and live in the present, no worries, no thinking about obligations & requirements. People don't do enough of that nowadays. We did talk about next Monday when he's driving to the lake, I'm going with him. I get to read the map
I don't know what it is about him, he's gentle and I trust him. "I've never been this close to anyone, or anything, I can feel your heart, I can see your dreams"

Not much, I tried to work on my tan but the sun was sporadic - still, it's better than NO sun. Mom is making lasagna but I had to go to the old Wal-Mart to buy noodles. It's been at least a year since I've been in that store, it was goin really downhill, but they've really cleaned up. I was impressed. Partly, going in the daytime helps, before the 17:00 rush starts.
I hafta go to work at 16:00 again, and I SO want to stay and chill with Matt, but I don't look forward to another 21:00-22:00 wait. Place your bets now, I bet that I'll stay
Found an interesting quote on LHC "Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
Is everyone trying to tell me something? I feel at peace with where I am right now, but I also feel like I shouldn't hold back because I am not promised tomorrow. It's a difficult balance.
OK, I did stay to see Matt, even though mom insisted I be home at 22:45, BE home, not leave then. Sheesh, that gave us about 30 minutes together, and I had to wait a whole hour just for thirty minutes! I was 4 minutes late getting home and she fussed at me! She has been late for everything my entire life! I should've told her there was a train or something, then it wouldn't've been my fault. Heck, I almost BEAT her home, she was just pulling into the garage when I was pulling into the driveway, what if I'd a beat her home? then she wouldn't've known when I got home!
...I don't lie to my parents, at least not normally.
I can only remember one "white lie" in recent history, concerning a certain T-shirt

Thursday, PayDay, May 20, 2004 -
I've been working on my left-handed writing quite a bit since last Sunday. I'm working on a coloring book with my left-hand only. I didn't learn to write right-handed as soon as I tried, I had to crawl before I walked, coloring is actually easier than writing. Crayons are much more forgiving than fine-tipped pens, and you don't have to make "straight" lines when you color pictures. I really outta get off and go to work.

Happy pay day!
