We slept in and then went shopping at my Wal-Mart. It was really cool to go and see what goes on without me, and to see everyone without being required to work. :kcool:
Mom and I bought alicia a new watch, and I got some stuff for all my friends, but I did most of my C-mas shopping yesterday.
I swear security followed me around all day though. :ktongue:
But, he said hey to me and all, I think he remembers me. Which is cool, coz I kinda like him. Thursday
Happy Thanksgiving to me! Since no one on here stopped by to wish me one *cough cough*
We had Turkey for lunch, but my aunt & uncle didn't show. Holidays just aren't much punk if it's too 'normal' It's still not right to me to eat Thanksgiving at my g-parent's new house, even though it isn't very new anymore. But oh well, sat around bored til time to go to work. Right as I was leaving, it started storming :kshifty:
It was fun at work, practically no one was actually buying anything, they were just bored so they came to wander around in WM. David (the manager) wasn't there, and no one else really had much to do, they just let us goof off and all. It was fun.
Then Steven came to visit me, he's nearly 7 feet tall and about 23, but he was flirting with me! :kwhoa:

I always oversleep on the day after Thanksgiving to avoid all the craziness :kwink: so at 11:38 when I got up coz the phone was ringing off the hook, I was hoping it'd be my friend Camilya, instead it was my manager Carla!!! :keek:
She said I was supposed to work 11 to 5 today! I had no idea! I jumped in the shower and swallowed breakfast, and made it in by 12:30
It really wasn't as bad as all that, I got there after the big rush. It wasn't any worse than most other Saturdays, just the stuff people were buying was different. Then I got to work in the garden center, that was fun! Stressful, busy, demanding, but fun! I liked it, I always like working out there, I feel like I can really help people find stuff there.
We had cops there by the door today, the one on the GM door was pretty outgoing. I also talked to James, the guy in security mentioned above.
This is the first time I've got off and there was still any daylight left, it didn't last long enough for me to buy gas though. I also got us a DVD&VCR combo player. I was really tired! I went to bed at 11:30, which is unusual, but needed!

| Saturday Wow I post pretty often
Got the C-mas lights & decorations down from the attic, decorated the outside of the house. Had all sorts of problems putting the lights on the roof, coz we have mis-matched strings. We were using opposites, one went one way and the other the other way, one was polarized - and the other wasn't (so they wouldn't connect right) just stuff like that. The other option was an even older string that the little hooks went the other direction so the lights would be up-side-down Will decorate my room tomorrow.
Worked regular 4-9, it went pretty well. I was in a good mood, and quite frankly, I didn't have to do much today. I was on 14 for 30minutes, had to do CBLs (computer training units) for about an hour, then I was on the door for an hour while Mrs Ruthie had her lunch, THEN I took my break and was on register 17. No one came thru my line, they went to Joe a lot (he's really outgoing to get customers) that's ok, I enjoied hangin with Joe and Kyle. THEN, for the last 30 minutes I worked in toys "zoning" or cleaning up. I stretched it for about an extra 15 minutes, kinda coz I enjoied the work and kinda coz I needed the time (from yesterday). No one really noticed, or cared. I hung out a little, bought spare C-mas light bulbs and came on home.

Had a rough trip on the road tonight: going to church the interstate "shut down" as in full stop, first gear kinda thing - for no aparent reason.
Turns out they didn't have church tonight, even though they said they would last week...weird
So we left a message at home and went to a movie instead. Saw Haunted Mansion, it was alright, the effects were good but the storyline was weak. It was a kid story-line movie, but probably a PG-13 type ghost movie so it just wasn't all that
THEN we went to one Wal-Mart, to look for something for mom that they didn't have at my store, chilled out for a while. then we went to Wendy's for supper, coz they usually feed us at church.
Then we went down to my WM, stopped at a light while turning left, it turned yellow on me so I stopped but a little farther up than usual (not bad). What's the chance of a semi coming thru here and turning left at this time of day at this exact few minutes? You guessed it, there was one, turning left. Grr, he didn't have enough room so he stopped mid-turn. I had to get the car behind me to back up first...they took forever about it but finally did and it worked out. Talk about thinking-required 'driving' and I wasn't even actually driving(as in actually moving)!
got there, and ate and visit my friends. Chilled, shopped a little, got my chapstick out of my locker - really exciting stuff. Weekends throw me off, everybody's schedule is different (mine inclueded, I'm not even there!)
Called mom at 8:30 when we were usually home, but it was busy and she didn't answer the cell either. We left soon after that.
Got on the service road for a couple of miles, two lanes both 1-way, speed limit 45 and everybody tries to do 55 during the daytime. This white car, doin about 35 oK? So I signaled, and changed lanes to pass him, no hurry really since it's one-way and there's not much traffic. About the time I got almost even with him, his blind spot I guess, he didn't signal at all, aparently didn't look either, still goin about 35ish he suddenly decides he has to get on the interstate - from the far lane!!!!
At least we know my truck can stop, I threatened the construction barrels, but ya know they won't really hurt me. Good thing I was paying attention and thinking coz he sure wasn't!! The other things were stressful but not too bad, THAT was scary!

| Been working in the Garden Center/Seasonal/Christmas all week, I like working out there. I like walking around and helping people and getting stuff for people...
Sometimes the phone rings too much though
A pregnant lady that usually works out there had something go wrong last Monday and she won't be in for 6 weeks. I'm filling in for her at least right now, I need to talk to Todd about it "officially" though...
I bought all-green lights for my room this year. I used to have all red but it was a really old string and I threw it out last year or so. I accidentally got one with white wires and one with green wires, the white looks better against my light walls, but idk about it...
Well, that's been my week and my update!

Not a whole lot right now, I had to bake cookies for our Homeschool Highschool Senior's Scavenger Hunt tonight. I made chocolate with white chips. I love white chips, need to get some more to eat It's supposed to be a white elephant party too, but I haven't got my "gift" chosen yet
Worked on my truck and tried to fix the water leak. Won't know for sure untill next time it rains though...

| Well, where to start?
My friend Camilya (at work) has decided to try and 'set me up' with Lance (one of her friends, also at work). I've been working on him a little bit, just friendly like. Coz I knew him a little bit -as Camilya's friend- from the time that we went to the mall together. Anyway, he started at WM a couple of weeks ago, and I always said hi to him, finally got him to where he says hi back to me. Camilya is sure that my "working on him" means I at least sortof like him a little bit.
But anyway, I have no objections to "getting to know him" . . . which is all she's proposing right now.
Talked to my friend Ben a lot, he's talkative and easy to like. He's engaged to a girl in the cash office. I end up talking to him a lot on breaks and lunch. Since he's easy to talk to, and shares some common interests (plays guitar, used to lifeguard, etc.) I enjoy bein around him.

| I had a bad first half of my work day. It started out "iffy" and went downhill from there. Things fell & broke, and grouchy customers were mean to me, and I was mean back to one of them yay for me! But then Chris A. came thru my line, called me special. Gotta love him. Lunch didn't come soon enough, but the pineapple juice got into my lasagna Gotta work on stuff like that. I also need to take a fork for my locker - since I don't want to eat everything with my famous spoon. Talked to Ben M. after I ate. The same Ben mentioned above. I bought It's my "I'm Having a Bad Day - Cat" Mine doesn't have the santa get-up as in the picture, but it has frizzy furr, short legs, long neck, big eyes, etc. It's strangle-able, for stress-relief But, after lunch my day got better. Officer Williams came thru my line. He's goofy, our favorite cop from around there. He always teases me about being short (coz he's tall) so when I saw him coming I stood on that infamous bag of cat litter! :kgrin: I SO wanted him to write a check, so I could ask him for his License!!!!!!! I mean, how many times do you get to ask a police officer for his "license and registration" ???? But he used a debit card instead...oh well. I also got to hang out with Kyle some. He's cool.
Lance, who I did agree to 'give a chance' was off tonight. Ohh well again.
There was ICE on my car when I came out!!!! Grrr! The roads were dry, thankfully, but at home the temp was about 28º!!
