Thursday during the day, Doug and I went scouting. Saw two seperate deer, a half-year fawn and a full grown (and rather large) doe. Some sign, but lots of small tracks.
Then he drove me home for Sam's wedding. The costume wedding. It was very casual. More of a Halloween party than a wedding, but there was a wedding there so....it was weird. A fuzz too casual even for my liking, but I wasn't complaining coz I was only a gwest. Anyway, it was fun.
When we left, we were gonna pick up my camping equpiment from my parent's house, swing by the liquor store, and then Doug would take me back to school in the morning. Didn't quite work out as planned, we didn't get to my house (and it's only like a 10 minute drive from Sam's wedding to my house) coz his car broke down. SO, we had to call his sister to have her come pick us up and it took nearly an hour for her to get there. Sigh. She did stop by the liquor store for us though, and we got Crown and Coke to drink before bed. Good stuff man, not a whole lot of taste (in Coke) but nice effects. lol Anyway, after that we went to bed. I must admit that the first couple of times I rolled over took me a few minutes to get re-oriented and un-dizzy.
ANYWAYZ there was a little playing with my new tongue bar, but we didn't do anything bad. I skipped biology, and postphoned my economics class, so we got to sleep in till 10! yeah! It was weird for me, I never sleep in past 8. lol I went to Economics at 12:00 instead of at 10:00, and then to Chemistry, and then came back home, so I was only at school for like 2.5 hours on Friday! Doug's dad came and they got his car going again so we didn't have to worry about getting it towed or anything too expensive. It was a combination of several small problems, so nothing too costly.
THEN, I discovered that the reason Amber wasn't responding to my text messages was because she wasn't getting them. BUT, we got a Cingular bill and I was being charged for them. We went to the store, and they still couldn't figure out why Amber couldn't receive my text messages. They switched the SIM cards and it could send/receive, but when they put them back it couldn't. I can receive them from Amber, but she can't receive them from me. It's SO weird! Anyway, they took the charges off of my bill since the texts never went through.
Then I went across to WM with Amber. SHe's a scary scary driver! Talk about high stress! I can't stand people driving like that! EEEPS!
Moving right along, I socialized in the break room for about an hour, then Doug came in on break. We talked for his break and then mom was ready to go home. She came shopping, and since I rode up there with Amber I was gonna ride back with mom. yeah, anyways, after I got home and ate, I switched to my new, shorter tongue bar - which was pictured in yesterday's post. Yeah, anyway, that was a looooong update. but a lot of things happened! So yeah

| Ok, I've been stewing all day about my mom's [what I call] "policies"
It's not that she can really set rules for me anymore, but she *****es or complains, or even just complains to my sister behind my back (which I also really hate coz she won't just come right out and say it)
One thing is that she doesn't like me having a boyfriend. It's not that she doesn't like Doug. She also hasn't come out and said to me that she doesn't like it, but she kinda acts like she doesn't like it. Anyway, she told my sister that she doesn't like me having a boyfriend while I'm in college coz I almost lost my scholarship last year. OK wait a friggin minuge here! I had a 3.6 in the fall semester and got invited to the NSCS and all sorts of stuff. I had a 3.1 in the SPRING semester. My boyfriend broke up with me in January, that means the semester that my grades went down - I DIDN"T HAVE ANY BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!! Where the heck is she getting that logic?? Also, what does she expect me to do, just wait till I'm an old maid to even START dating?? I mean, my boyfriend is most of my social life as it is, without one I'm really boring.
Another thing that she doesn't like is me staying out a little bit late on Sunday nights. She complains about it, but she really can't tell me when to come in. OK, yes I am tired on Mondays and it's a really long day of school (9-5) and Doug is tired on Sundays too, so yes it does make sense. But the part that doesn't make any sense: when I come home at 11 I am tired and I go to bed. When I come home at 10, I still have energy and I don't "feel like I"m late" so I stay up - till like 12:30 or some ****. So I actually get LESS sleep when I come home earlier! Where's the logic in that one? I told her I can run my own life and she's all like "I don't think you're doing a very good job of it". I didn't say anything, but I'm all like, well, you know what - you think that and then you can take your opinion and shove it you-know-where, I'll run my life any way I see fit.
Complaint number 3: Alcohol. If I'm not allowed to drink at home, that only leaves two other options (not drinking or drinking away from home) and when I drink away from home that also leaves me with two options (stay the night there or drive home). She would really freak if she knew that I stayed with Doug last Thursday night. But him driving me home tired would've been stupid, and then either of us driving after we hit the liquor store would've been so wrong. I would prefer if she was one of those "I'd rather you drink here than elsewhere" kinda moms. I wouldn't abuse it, but . . . whatever.
It rained today. Hasn't rained in a long time so I'm glad it did rain. I just don't really care for overcast weather. Bleh, makes me anxious.

It seems so late, coz it's so dark. Raining didn't help matters. I actually took a nap for like 1.5-2 hours after I got out of class, then I ate, then I took a shower, I've been on the computer, it should be later than 8:45!!!!! It was dark all afternoon so...It'll take me a month to get used to this. I slightly remember it from last year (hunting season) but I can't remember how I got used to it! l

| Quick search on Google...
"Arkansas - No one under the age of 21 is allowed to consume or posses alcohol. Anyone under the age of 21 can't drive any motor vehicle with a BAC of .02 but less than a BAC of .10. For anyone 21 years of age or more the BAC limit is .10 or higher."
That confused me...but I cannot get their reference links to work to figure out what they're talking about, and I am too lazy/don't care enough to go do further research, so. ( http://www.youthrights.org/dastatelist.shtml)
And on another site I have already lost the link to...
"All 50 states have enacted zero tolerance laws for all drivers under the age of 21. A zero tolerance law sets a maximum BAC of .02 or less for minors and suspends or revokes an offender's driver's license. The reason for a BAC of .02 instead of .00 is to avoid claims by minors that they have ingested medications with small amounts of alcohol." (Obviously, this is on drinking and driving, not just drinking, but it shows the reasoning behind the BAC level.)
Anyway, the authorities at your school have already told you to stop, haven't they? So I don't really get your reasoning.

To sell it to me, furnish it to me, for me to buy it, sell it, or even possess it, IS illegal, but drinking it really is a loophole. The reasons for the cops, it was the UCA cops, and alcohol is prohibited for people of any age on campus. I no longer drink on campus.
