Mondays are my Saturdays, I have a Sunday-Monday weekend, so I loaf on Mondays. It's my only day off that I don't have church and other stuff instead of work. Later I plan to work on Mondays too, but at least for now I enjoy my laziness. SO I didn't do much today. Except beat this guy JD at this riddle he gave me, actually, I asked Kati - but I didn't tell him that. He was disapointed that he couldn't beat me. I sat around in the fading sunlight, even when I was doing school. It was lovely, cool weather and it's already getting dark noticably later. I took a practice ACT test and got a 24. (my sunday school teacher got a 20 back in the day! I just thought he was smart...j/k) I want a 28, at least a 26. My mom will give me $100 if I get a 28! even more reason to want a 28

Ho hum, I'm tired. Busy day at work. It wasn't like crazy busy but steady busy anyway. Just the usuals, shoplifters, managers running in circles, customers with all kinds of problems and typical pms...I'm tired, did I mention that?
Instead of the old flashing light to get a CSM to help us they started using these action codes with the CSMs using a little palm pilot thing. I thought that the light flashing was slightly antiquated compared to the Smart system and things like that, but it worked. This new system will take some getting used to, there was a few lights flashing out of habit anyway.
I got a pic of me and my guitar, guess I'll post that:

well, idk what's up with the RED X, you can see the pic here http://www.freewebs.com/marvinranch4/CA20B.jpg

another survey...hmmm.. yoinked from Nate's blog. yoinked from MusicalDragon's blog

1. How did you get along with each of your parents? What were they like?

mom - usually pretty good
dad - we stay on good terms by mutually ignoring each other

2. What did you like and dislike about your parents?

Mom usually I can talk to and she's just fun, like a girl friend, my sis and I and her hang out sometimes, a lot of times she decideds something about me and laughs at me, she won't accept whatever I'm saying. And I don't think she's at all ready for me to turn 18. She got mad at me for the idea of my moving out This is were my older friends come in, they're helpful, supportive and encouraging.
Dad is always on the youngest kid's 'side' and it's really annoying, but he also seems to understand my getting older and independent better than mom does.

3. How did you get along with your brothers and sisters?

2 younger sisters, we usually get along, the youngest one, Alicia, is too much like me though so it can be tense.

4. Who were your favorite relatives?

my grandpa, the one that bought me my truck

5. What is the first thing you can remember?

IDK the first thing, specifiacallly. I remember some early stuff, pre-Alicia days, and days back when I was either 4-5 going to my 'boyfriend' 's church for VBS.

6. What special memories do you have of your childhood?
Summer days at our old house, playing with the cats we had growing up.

7. What do you remember about your first day of school?

I was homeschooled.

8. What was your favorite grade, and who were your favorite teachers?

I really don't care, 12th I guess coz it's last

9. What did you enjoy or dislike about school and its activities?

I liked being homeschooled, usually the lack of friends didn't bother me very much.

10. What were your hurts and disappointments as a child?

Um, usually just my dad getting mad at me and refusing to even listen to my side of the story.

11. What were your hobbies and favorite games?

being outdoors, hiking, camping, running around early in the mornings, model horses, photography, favorite gams? idk, I liked Skip-Bo growing up, and evenntually I grew to detest games that were all luck of the draw, I prefer skill games. I like 'playing' dominance 'games' nowadays.

12. How did you usually get into trouble?

Calling my sisters names, but I really don't care anymore.

13. What pets did you have? Which were your favorites, and why?

4 fish, currently 4 cats. My favorite is Thomas, our long-haired cat. He's such a sweet boy, but he's also really jelous about food. I love him.

14. Did you like yourself as a child? Why or why not?

no, nobody liked me

15. Did you like yourself as a teenager? Why or why not?

sorta, for a while nobody liked me but I changed churches and that helped a lot, I got a job, and people grew up and started accepting me for me.

16. Did you have enough money in your youth? Enough clothing?

Yes, I'm just a middle class white kid, my secret is to wear the same clothes year after year and just buy a few along. I quit growing when I was 12

17. What were your talents and special abilities?

I uh, could read sheet music pretty well, Why are all these questions in past tense?

18. What awards or special achievements did you win?

Awana awards, going to get Citation next spring

19. Did you have a nickname?

MarvinRanch, for a time it was George of the Jungle and then Mighty Mouse,

20. What did you dream about doing when you were older?

Being really self-reliant, living waaay out, driving a big truck and raising some horses, cattle

21. Who were your close friends? What are they doing today?

hmmm, Calvin was my early childhood "boyfriend" he's got behind a grade, and I never see him anymore, I saw him last about 8 years ago(shortly after Alicia was born) then we were too busy with the baby to do anything fun anymore, I've seen him in passing maybe twice since then. THEN, I had some friends in grade/middle school, they all turned snobbish. One went to private school and became really frowned upon in that youth group, she was anti-social and 'perfect' One went to private school, tried her best to hang out with the cool kids, the cool kids moved away and now she's my friend again, but not close friend. In high school I met my best friends, and they're still my best friends (of course, I'm still in high school too)

22. What would you do on hot summer afternoons?

chill on the computer/online, build webpages, sometimes work.

23. Describe the area where you grew up: the people, neighborhood, etc.

um, rural neighborhood, had nice neighbors and a church across the street, down the street they had 2 horses, chickens and goats. Lots of trees, pine trees. It was really quiet, just a quarter mile from the highway, I loved the sound of the highway. It's not the same as a regular road, all the semis, and constant. I loved that place. We sold the house this past month and they've already cut down all the trees! That was my real home...
Now I live in a more wood-y place, but it's in the city too. I really dont' like it here much, neighbors are snooty and always gone, more crime and junk, TRAINS and the AIRPORT. We still live near an interstate, but I can't hear it at night anymore, I still love that sound.

24. What were you afraid of? Do you have any of those fears today?

Um, not major fears much, I'm afraid of . . . mostly bad guys and wild animals.

25. At what age did you start to like the opposite sex?

when I was little I wanted to be like guys rather than "like" them, Um, I'm 17 and I'd still prefer a real guy-friend anyday.

26. What was your first date?

uh, hard to say. Some would say when this guy and I went to my prom, some would say when this other guy and I went to dinner....anyway, it was within 2 weeks of each other

27. Where did you have your first dates?

see above

28. How did you feel when you liked someone and that person didn't care for you?

um, usually I could see the reasons or whatever, sometimes ouch though

29. Who were your other dates or steadies?

uh, none

30. What did you like or dislike about them?

31. What was your spiritual life as a child? As an adolescent?

Grew up going to church, got saved when I was 7, really got close to God when I was in 7th grade. It's been pretty awesome

32. How did you express your relationship with God during this time?

journal, reading Bible, prayer

um, maybe coz it's 11:40pm? or coz your DE teacher drained you by being such a jerk...
Quote:

Um, that's constantly changing really. I find new vocabulary words all the time which makes me sound quite verbose but I also have various quotes from various old movies that I use randomly, I don't even remember where they're from!
Quote:
Favorite animal?
Horses - obviously, but I also like wolves, wild horses(just to clarify) and dogs, I like my cats, I like my fish coz I like ecology...
Quote:
Favorite fish?
How'd that get in there? lol um, Catfish!!!!!!!!!!! :kgrin:
Quote:
Coffee flavor?
I tend to like hazelnut type stuff, not too coffee-y but not too sweet. I don't really care for Starbucks

Really not much has happened all week, but I'll review it anyway:

wednesday: Awana, we had a good discussion in Varsity, and Fozzy was back from college (coz his truck needed work), hung out with Officer Shell as usual. Jason C was late, Dusty & Chris weren't there so I bet band practice wasn't all that great anyway.

Thursday Not much, studied for the SAT and went to work. at work I saw Brad, he was teasing me about giving me a hug while he was wearing his greasy TLE uniform. Then later he asked me for my number. I gave it to him, for lack of any real reason not to. He called while I was eating, and for about 10 minutes....he didn't talk much lol, kindof like me I guess.

Friday:No work! Just kindof reviewed vocabulary words, took a relaxing bath and tried to sleep before the test

SATurday: Got up early, I didn't sleep very well. Took the SAT and all, it wasn't all that bad, I think I did well. Can't wait to find out Worked the usual evening shift, and was really tired.

Sunday: Slept well, but not long enough. Ordinary. I really appriciate my sunday school teachers that've had kids graduate HS before, or young adults that understand. My SS teachers have 2 graduated kids, and they understand, they think of us as about-to-be-real-adults rather than as kids. And Jason C, he promises that turning 18 will change things, despite your parents objections. I think parents know, they barely have control of ya as it is, and they don't want you to grow up coz they lose their power/control. Whether they'd admit to it or not, coz they probably don't think of it that way.

Monday: Nothing, started studying for the ACT and my cd-rom for it couldn't be installed coz the files were corrupted. I called to get a new one but I doubt they'll get it in time anyway. I only have 2 weeks. Probably just gonna do chores tonight....

THERE YA GO, my boring life....feel free to comment or ask questions etc.

Sure! (in case you haven't noticed the lack of posts...I'll take all I can get)

Yeah, most of the time.

Uh, hopefully no where, but I probably won't get much choice in the matter. My g-parents have like 6 grave-spots nearby, and there's only 2 of them, so for whoever needs them first. They gave 1 to my uncle's friend when her premature baby died.

To be rather than to seem - it's the motto of....SC I think

ack, nobody visits my blog!
Well, this weekend was pretty normal.
SUNDAY:
Got up, no breakfast much so I had a banana, I was starving BEFORE the sermon (instead of during), I got a Root Beer from the coke machine downstairs before sunday school. I always like my sunday school, but I despise the "opening assembly" thing. Came home, ate, washed dishes, online. Went to MY church at night, as usual. We have youth worship/class first which is the reason I go to this church. Then we go to this prayer of Jabez video class. That guy is just interesting to watch/listen to even if ya don't agree with him. I hung out with Casey and Jason C. coz they're my friends. Then we discuss, and eat. Always gotta eat. They served breakfast at 7:30p (I guess to make up for this morning?) Then we were chillin outside, and Casey was tryin on her angel costume. and Jason hit me with the belt that goes to it, then he said somethin to someone else, while he wasnn't looking I was removing my trusty belt, and I whacked him with it. He turned around and said 'who did that?' and I just looked at him, he finally actually looked in people's hands and of course I was the one with the belt. SO I hit him again (evil aren't I?) and he started chasing me, he grabbed it but he couldn't make me let go of it. It was funny!

Now, for a real post tonight.....yoinked this from Insane Drummer's blog (a few pages back):

What is the worst injury you ever sustained? I broke a finger....

What was your most difficult subject in school? MATH

What is the best season for you? um, spring or fall, actually I like living here where we get a good mix of everything, its very un-boring

Do you like rollercoasters? honesly haven't been on very many, idk

If yes, what is your favorite? n/a

**What did you do that resulted in the worst punishment you ever received?
