Magic Springs

I had a good time today. Dad didn't seem to be in a very good mood though...oh well.
Amber and I spent a while in the wave pool coz it was rather hot. The water in the pool wasn't very cool though. We went in the 'lazy river' (or whatever they actually call it) which is mostly shady and the water was cooler there. We rode in the tube water slides and everything like that.
I wanted some DippinDots. Usually I'm not *that* thrilled about them, but today I just wanted some. I had chocolate, and borrowed the money from Amber. I didn't bring anything except my sunglasses and towel! (I wore shorts over my swimsuit, but no shirt.) Later when it was somewhat cooler ("coolER" not cool by any definition!) we went to the steel park to ride. My little sister went with us too. We rode most everything that was open and that wouldn't make me sick. I can tolerate the "up and down" motion pretty well, but I get dizzy easily. Amber can't do up/down but spinning around doesn't bother her too badly. Alicia is brave until it actually comes to getting on the ride, then she freaks. She's really clausterphobic too. They rode "the Gauntlet" (newest ride, suspended rollercoaster) but I didn't. Everything else we all rode, except Amber was the only one who dared to ride "Wild Thing" since it was really spinny. We didn't ride the log ride! Ack! I meant to, but we just kinda....forgot....I guess. We rode the other water rides ("Plummet Summit") and everything like that. I bought some stuff at the store - a couple of postcards and a magnent and a sign that says "April's parking only, all others will be towed". We fixed a sandwich before we hit the road. We always bring our own food/drinks to save money. By then I was starving, and it really hit the spot. I definately had a good time. Somehow, it's just more fun when my friends go with me (Amber specifically)

Yeah, after I've been about twice, all the rides are boring and stuff....but I always like water. I Loooooove water

Nothing much today, just work and it was relatively slow. You think that there's an endless supply of Wal*Mart bags? When the price of oil is so high, we don't order very many extra......tonight we were running out.I don't think any more came in tonight either.

Ya hafta complain to get anyting done around here! I waited all week for my socks to come through the wash, I wore sandals some days, etc. Yesterday I finally complained about it, and magically today mom washes a load of lights that has a ton of my socks in it. I'm gonna do my own laundry from now on, despite what mom says about wasting water. It may get done "Mexican style" but at least it does get done (and when I need it too!).

We mopped/waxed the floor today. I was off. Took Amber to tan and work, bought some stuff at Wal-Mart, the usuals. I got a big microfiber towel for my hair. I'm wearing it on my hair now. It was a lot cooler today so I worked in the garden. Mostly the only garden we have is my tomato plants, which are producing nicely. They needed to be picked up off the ground and weeded though, it's just been too dang hot here lately. My legs were an all-you-can-eat buffet for the mosquitoes, and my feet were the unsuspecting victoms of a fire ant attack. We've never had fire ants before....wonder how you're supposed to get rid of them.

we have some already, it's that you aren't supposed to use it near blooming plants because it will also keep the pollenating bugs away, and tomatoes bloom most of the summer.....that is the problem

Hi, April.

1) I like your fire ant removal method. I have heard it works with wasps too, but I haven't tried that.
2) You are a survey thief! But so am I, so it's all good.
3) I like making numbered lists, I am half asleep and a little delirious, and I start work in like half an hour.
4) How's life?
5)

"(1)Your gender: Technically gender refers to whatever your culture defines the "gender roles" as, and I am more masculine."
"(205) What is best about the opposite sex?: they're simple.
(206) What is the worst thing about the opposite sex?: they're so simple that all they want is sex and alcohol."

Are you saying all you want is sex and alcohol?

6) I don't really have a six.
7) I am sorry for cluttering your blog with silliness. Hope you have an excellent week anyway.
