| High School Homecoming Ideas Hey Ya'll! I'm a Junior in high school This year, I was put on the Student Council at school. Well we are getting ready for Homecoming and realized that we don't have a theme. Our mascot is a Warhawk and our colors are Black, Gold and White. We will be playing the Bulldogs, if this helps any! If you have ANY ideas I'm open to anything. WE are in DESPERATE need of ideas.
Email me at BabyTaylorGurl@bellsouth.net if you have any ideas!

<marquee> It's like that there's a music, playing in your ear And I'm listening, and I'm listening, and then I disappear And then I feel a change, like a fire deep inside Something bursting me wide open, impossible to hide And suddenly I'm flying, flying like a bird Like Electricity, electricity Sparks inside of me, and I'm free, I'm free </marquee> |

| Everyone likes puppies. Get a lot of puppies and let them loose in the gym. Then everyone will be very happy because you have let puppies loose in your gym. Can I be your date?
A theme: Puppies Make Me Happy

| Make up some totally random theme. Like... WIlly Wonka and the Chocolate Factory or something. Have a Medieval theme with a Western twist. Kinghts of the Round Table... The Rennaisance. Be creative. Our you could have a Roman theme or something. I think Homecomings are way overrated, but I hope you get a good theme

| haha, yes as am I. You could just eat me up. Add a little pepper seasoning and I'll better than beef stew over an Eskimo fire.

| I'm putting money on Roman or Greek themes. Especially Roman. Columns, bright colors, and lots of fruits for food.

| yeah, you don't need "another guy" You need a man. Right here baby. My number is 426- just kidding. Yeah and me getting from michigan to georgia would be difficult. Yeah, but the thing with roman or Greek is that it could be expensive, but it would be sweet. Also, if you did willy wonka and the chocalate factory you could have the river of chocolate. That would be sweet. Hope it goes well

If hte school we're talking about has a drama class and prop department, then they would probably have some columns somewhere. Then just take richly-colored fabrics (dark purples, reds, greens, and especially blues) and just use them to highlight certain parts of the area. Voila! A Roman banquet hall, fit for a king! er.... at least a Prince, anyway.

| The Roman theme I would use for a Prom or something. They are all GREAT ideas! They've actually helped me out on prom stuff. Seeing that I'm on that too! I need something different. Like last year our theme was "Remember the Magic." The year before that it was "Remeber the Warhawks." And before that it was somethin stupid. We just need something along those lines but not with all the remember crap! Like one idea we have is "Friends" just in general. Then the one we came up with at the student council meeting was "Who let the Warhawks out?" Like the song! Lol! |

#15 | | Guest | How about "Relax" as a theme? With rich, relaxing colors, traditional foods (ie tarts, homebaked breads, pies, homemade ice cream and sherbets...), and good, bluesey music? It would make for a good formal event. Lighting could be done with small sources, such as white christmas lights, scalloped around the room, candles, and hidden lamps. | |
